They morphed into the "tax cuts for corporations" party. Yes, they always were a special kind of stupid.

The economy is moving. Unemployment is so low, all that job creation you are dreaming of will be in foreign lands, where--thanks to Trump's new tax plan--corporations will no longer have to pay tax on their profits.

Pretty insulting to the black, Latin and Asian members of the party, no? Dare I even mention the Muslim members?

They are home destroying their own families instead trying to destroy the country.

The libruls like playing dumb when it comes to tax cuts. Every time income tax and corporate taxes are lowered, tax revenue increases. In the case of the Reagan tax cuts, revenue nearly doubled.

It was a sham movement built on lies and fueled by racial resentment and that is now more than obvious with their silence on the debt increase and most of the cuts going to the rich and corporations - not the little guy who pretended to be speaking for all along.
As usual, you are making it up as you go along. Problem for you and 99percenter is that the Tea Party is still quite active as we found out during the IRS scandal in Obama's second term. And while Obama policies were a very big motivator for the formation of the Tea party, it was about much more then just Obama. it was about establishment politicians in general. As for your silly claim about racial resentment, are you including the tea partier in this video?

Bush 41 called this "voodoo economics", because he knew that trickle-down economics doesn't work - there's NO hard evidence showing that it ever has. But anymore, y'all seem to think that Bush 41 is some kind of left-wing socialist - and besides, Trump already showed what contempt he has for those who were shot down in combat and taken prisoner by the enemy....
Tax revenues nearly doubling after the Reagan tax cuts is proof positive that trickle down absolutely does wark.

Really? Since when does 21% translate to nothing?

Will the left ever grow out of it's 'race baiting" tactic? it certainly did not help you in 2016.

The tea party has been replaced by pro or avid trumpers. Complaining about the deficit or the national debt has always been an out of power party thing. Republican, Democrat, doesn't matter. Once in power, the party in power spends like there is no tomorrow. You seen it with Bush II when the democrats railed against his spending. Then Obama entered office and it was the republicans turn to rant and rave about deficits and the national debt. Today, this year, with Trump as president, the Democrats are now hollering and screaming about deficits and the national debt.

Fact is neither party really cares. It's just a political talking point. Rhetoric to the max with no action.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
