What happened to the tea party?

Because the 1.5 T is the down payment on getting the economy moving again. As employment increases we will get that back many times over in payroll and corporate taxes.

So if that does not happen THEN you will be mad? What if we have a recession next year?

Rather then argue with the lunatic spin of CBS, I will just happily accept your overall admission that tax revenues did increase under the Reagan tax cuts.....as they did under the JFK tax cuts, and the Bush(W) tax cuts. And it's laughable to claim that Reagan raised revenue through tax increases. That is pure left wing spin. Reagan did close some tax loopholes and made it more difficult to avoid paying taxes, however he did not raise income tax rates. Trump has also closed some loopholes and has stopped the federal government from subsidizing state and local income taxes. That part is delicious. It is mostly the left in the blue states that likes to raise taxes....that is until they can no longer deduct their state and local taxes on their federal returns. Perhaps New York and California liberals may now harbor second thoughts.

"lunatic spin of CBS". Well, I guess we know who's been drinking the "it's all fake news" Kool-Aid that Trump's been peddling!

And the guy who EDITED Reagan's diaries stated how Reagan wasn't afraid to raise taxes...and Reagan DID so. The fact that he didn't raise income taxes does not mean that he didn't raise other taxes...and you can see by my references that yeah, Reagan most certainly did so. The fact that you don't want to accept reality is your problem, not mine.

And yeah, the numbers show that Obama outperformed Reagan when it came to increasing tax revenue. You don't like that either...but it is a hard fact.

Remember when they were bitching about deficits. Now the gop adds 1.5 trillion to the deficit and none of them care.

The tea party was opposed to high taxes (taxed enough already) and bailing out excessive spending and borrowing. This is a tax decrease and the opposite of a bailout. Fiscal responsibility means spending less, not paying more.

Youre right, they should be out here having a party.

Unlike you, I don't racistly suggest black people who disagree with me are "tokens".

you should check your privilege.

Do you reject the reality that there are people used as TOKENS?

A Token Minority is a concept in games, television, movies, and books wherein a single character of a different ethnicity is added to a cast of characters who all share the same--or very similar--ethnic background. It's often used to add the pretense of diversity to an otherwise homogeneous set of characters.

People used to present a false picture of diversity in an otherwise homogeneous group - it fits perfectly in the video presented with Hannity and his token African Americans.

Yep. The obama bull market has been great. To bad its all going to end soon and trump will be blamed.

It was so great that it created record numbers of part time employees and cost the Democrats the House in 2010-2012 and the Congress in 2014-2016 for you see you are like far too many totally ignorant of reality and what drives the voters, you will find out in 2018 when the Tax cuts are implemented. You liked the Obama market, up 5000 points this year alone, Obama economy never generated those kind of numbers

So did the republican losses in 2006 prove that bush was a failure?

People who have never cared about deficits or the Tea Party are getting bent out of shape and being hypocritical about deficits and wondering how hypocritical the Tea Party is when they are not protesting about deficits after these same people did everything they could to discredit and marginalize them.

You couldn't make up something this silly and pointless if you tried to do so.

Republican losses in 2006 didn't have the economic numbers we have today and will have next year to boost their chances, that plus a very unpopular war. All that gave us Obama and today i continue to thank him for giving us Trump

The Tea Party did what it needed to do. It exposed the corruption and hypocrisy of both major parties.

Hypocrisy: When liberals just loved seeing Obama spend money like a drunken sailor on shore leave, yet bitch about anyone else doing it.

lol.

The Tea Party is nothing more than standard Republican voting hacks. Once their new orange GOP president was elected, they disappeared into oblivion and only will return when the next Democrat president is elected. They exposed nothing other than what partisan shills they are.
