I volunteer when I can, at a halfway house for schizophrenics, who you will know are driven by paranoid delusions. One guy was Earth's Savior, complete with AK-47 when he was arrested. Another is a young woman who cannot have her hair washed because of the assassin poison in the shampoo. Still another cannot hear a phone ring because that's how the aliens track him.

These people are improving with medication, treatment and being exposed to 'normies' who don't judge.

In that context, my impression of a meeting of the Trump administration meeting is like "free time" at the lodge, only the participants aren't improving.

What does Rosie O'Donnell have to do with any of this? I am saying that ever since anti-Trump texts came out from ONE FBI agent, you guys have labelled it a coup to take down the President...

Hell I thought the last season of Homeland was too far fetched and they turned out to be 100% correct about the various fake news operations going on.

Which makes my reaction to the usual right wing idea of simply letting them kill themselves "if they want to take drugs." I have met thousands of people in recovery across North America and the Caribbean. I never met anyone who "wanted" to get addicted, but when you live in horror, like these guys, residential school survivors, rape victims, women forced into prostitution....you NEED something to kill the pain and make you forget what piece of **** human being you are, not wanting to live but too scared to take your own life.

Before this fentanyl crisis, most OD's where heroin or crack. An EMT I knew and member of my AA group (He drank to forget the bodies he has to take to the morgue) told me that he figured more than half the OD DOA's he handled were 'suicide'.

We're losing 1,200 a month. Any Canadian knows that if half that many died from flu each month, there would be a "National Emergency", possibly even troops called in, or if it were happening in Toronto. But where is the federal police effort? Busting Toronto Medical dealers who are back in business the next day.

If you get the notion I am mad as hell and won't take it anymore it's because I am. I am, beginning today going to **** up the Christmases for the Prime Minister's staff and those of other ministers....after hearing that EMT's peeled seven dead off the streets last night. Those are war statistics and they don't belong in Canada.
