Harvard: Millennials now biggest voting group in U.S., 2-1 Democratic

A new Harvard University poll Tuesday is blaring a loud danger signal to the Republican Party after finding that millennials are now the largest generation of voters and they are overwhelmingly Democratic, by a two-to-one margin.
The latest youth poll from Harvard’s influential Institute of Politics found that America’s 18-29-year-olds prefer Democrats 65 percent to 33 percent, in part because they don’t like President Trump and are “fearful” about the future.

Trump's Approval Rating Shows Plummeting Popularity Among White Voters, Just Like Obama at End of His Term

President Donald Trump often blasts his predecessor, Barack Obama, and repeatedly tries to separate their administrations. But recent polling shows that, just like Obama before him, Trump has started to lose support among the white voters who helped put him in the White House.

The Republican billionaire’s job approval rating among white voters has plummeted to 41 percent from 49 percent in February, according to the latest Pew Research Center poll results released Thursday. Those figures are a far cry from the 58 percent of the total white vote Trump claimed on Election Day last year.

Trump still has majority support from Republicans (76 percent) and white evangelical Protestants (61 percent), but those are the only groups polled where Trump's approval rating is higher than 46 percent. The 17-point drop among evangelicals since February is especially steep.

Who could have guessed that sowing racial division and endorsing a child molester would not be popular outside of Trump's core fan base?

I think, unless something remarkable happens over the next three years, we are seeing a generational change. The GOP almost looks like it is on a demographic suicide mission. Trump and Moore are driving the boat right into the iceberg and the party seems content to burn the life boats. I could very well be wrong but what is clear is that the GOP is pot committed to their current course and so they will be behind Trump 100% no matter how much more he asks of them and how much more is tarnishes the brand of the GOP.

As a recovering Republican myself I agree, but for myself I'm sick of all these old time geezers running for office. Roy Moore has been in hiding because he can't take the national spotlight. I think he's afraid of the powers that came into his campaign at the last minute. Maybe doing some soul searching himself. The GOP is dead to me.

I am genuinely sorry. It was at one time a party of fiscal conservatism and high moral standing. I did not agree with many of its platforms but I could respect the men and women of character who led it. What is happening is truly sad.

America more than ever finds it impossible to ignore how broken America has become under the leadership of the Intelligentsia.

This new reality carries stiff consequences for the Minders, the so called BUS DRIVERS TO UTOPIA.

The R's hit a wall, the D's are about to.

Hmmm...

Well if they can vote using one of their personal hand-held electronic devices, maybe they will be a threat.

Otherwise, they don't seem to be all that motivated to register, wait in line for a booth, and then take the time to vote.

I guess we'll see. ;)

To us millennials that whole entire concept is silly. The voting process won't change much during my lifetime but there is no reason why it shouldn't. That can change but guys like you don't want it to change. Still your assumption that millennials don't vote is wrong. We just overtook as the largest voting bloc in America.

(Sigh) Did you not see the smiling emoji after the video?

That means the video is recognized as satire.

I thought emoji's were part of your millennial language structure...

It's hard to interpret satire over the internet and no I generally do not use emojis, memes or selfies. I never claimed to good at being a millennial I just am one.
