Trump once again is trying to link Clinton in with corruption on very slim evidence/no evidence and fake stories. So I want to ask the right, what is behind your Clinton obsession? Do you think she is more important than the President of the United States? Has Trump devalued the office so much that a private citizen is now more important than the President?

The truth of the matter, even though I hate her only a little less than Trump, is that Clinton has not been convicted of any crimes. And anything that you can even remotely pin on her. Trump has done too and worse. Very low level people in Clinton's circle got caught and a few higher levels at DNC did really, really stupid things, but none of them were charged with crimes. Trump's people did really, really stupid things and lied to authorities and committed crimes! How is that better? Why is Hillary your crutch?

Hillary is frequently brought up whenever debating Trump's record. Hillary is used as a justification for everything stupid Trump does, and he does stupid stuff on a daily basis. Clinton does not. She goes to Broadway plays with Bill. Winning the election, which at this point means successfully trolling the American people, should NOT be used as an excuse for everything Trump does. Not caring about Trump's behavior or antics because, "he beat Hillary," is no excuse.

The Clintons have become little more than a diversionary tool for an overwhelming majority of Trump supporters. Or at the very least, a tool to justify Trump's behavior and decorum in the office and to divert any sort of criticism. Aka "Whataboutism"

Probably because she was the other option if Trump was not elected.

Your side keeps pushing the meme that he was falsely elected due to complicity with Russian interference (when not claiming he is unfit for some other reason).

So when the cry is constantly about how he cheated to win and so must be deposed...why not point out that the choice was between the lesser of two evils? :shrug:

The right loves Clinton. She's their all around justification, diversion, and cartoon villain. If she dies tomorrow they'll probably claim she faked her death. They just can't let go.

I do not believe Clinton was the lesser. Especially at this point and anybody following Trump's madness should think the same.

You can argue about the merits of Clinton's record and the stupid things she did throughout her long public record, or you can just look at twitter and see the stupid stuff Trump did this morning. The difference is plain as day.

No, there is no such thing as falsely elected. 270 electoral votes is 270 electoral votes. That does not mean that Russian interference is a minor thing, but it does not undo the election results.

Do not believe all conservative thinking is governed by what the media chooses to cover. My bet is that, other than a few diehards in the country, most conservatives even on this website, just wish she’d dry up an blow away.

I don't typically "deflect to Clinton." Simply look at my posts and you will see I normally defend his actions (when I do) on the issues raised.

I was merely responding to the OP query about why some other members might do so. :shrug:

As for "defending his lies on a daily basis?"

I guess it is a matter of perspective on what constitutes a "lie."

For the most part she has, but I don't knock on a private citizen speaking up unless they say stupid things. And speaking up against stupid things isn't stupid.

I wrote in a candidate. I did not want to vote for Clinton either. That's another thing I don't get, for all the whining about the two party system conservatives do. Another excuse they have is, "but we had to vote for Trump!!!!" WAH.

Is 'Collusion' important or not? Is 'collusion' worthy of investigation or not? Leftists have been jerking each other off over the prospect of people going to jail over collusion. So why, if it is such a big deal, does the leftist circle jerk not include the DNC? Why should HRC not be investigated for collusion? For that matter...if you are truly concerned about obstruction of justice, why arent you worried about it when it is clear and obviously applied by the previous administration?

Well, I am not a Republican. I am not registered with any Party and have voted Democrat, Republican, and Third Party as my choices took me.

However, claiming no responsibility because one voted Third Party is a cop out, since voting your "conscience" for someone who had no chance of winning was a choice in our "two-party system" to let whichever Democrat or Republican candidate win.

As an aside, who did you vote for in 2008; Obama or McCain?

1. That she wasn't convicted of any crimes, despite being dead to rights, in a slam-dunk case. Any normal person that works with classified information doing what she did would be in jail.

2. She is used to demonstrate that any criticism of Trump from the left falls flat as they were willing to support Hillary. In other words, there is no integrity in that criticism and no other person highlights that more than Hillary.

They didn't have her dead to rights because even after all the hearings and being under the microscope of two FBI directors, even under a Republican president Trump who says he despises her and wants her locked up, even after Trump appointing cabinet members that COULD go after her, they still have not charged (nor are even looking to charge) Hillary. Does the bull**** naturally flow through your comments or is that just natural. Face facts the conny cons have nothing to Hillary and whine, sob and stamp their foots regardless.

Yet...her greatest "crime" has been to use a personal email server.

As for being unfit...that's a slippery slope. Every Democrat is unfit to be President in the eyes of conservatives. That's a Pandora's box Dems don't want to open even if a lot of prominent conservatives agree with Dems that Trump is an unfit President.
