Sitting Supreme Court Justice Bill O'Neill, responding to Franken allegations, claims bedding 50 women | cleveland.com

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Ohio Supreme Court Justice Bill O'Neill, a Democratic candidate for governor, apparently trying to head off any criticisms from his opponents, revealed what he says are his sexual escapades over the years on a Facebook post.

A post on O'Neill's official Facebook said he was speaking up "on behalf of all heterosexual males" after allegations against Democratic U.S. Sen. Al Franken came to light Thursday. O'Neill, a Chagrin Falls native, said he had been "sexually intimate" with "approximately 50 very attractive females."

O'Neill said he was disappointed by the "national feeding frenzy about sexual indiscretions decades ago" and wanted to focus on the issues like legalizing marijuana and addressing opioid addiction. Over the last several weeks, numerous allegations of predatory sexual behavior against powerful men have come to light.

So many things wrong with this picture. Moore and Franken aren't accused of "indiscretions", they're accused of attacking and harassing.

He's trying to legalize marijuana. It looks like he was high when he put together his campaign strategy.

Perhaps he anticipates some of his old acquaintances coming forward.

But, he's right -- this latest craze over bringing up sexual incidents that don't rise to the level of a crime, and no one thought to bring them up when they happened -- is ludicrous. It's a feeding frenzy that is going to ensure that intimate acts between two people will never again be spontaneous. Before you know it, you'll be able to buy a pad full of intimacy contracts at the grocers with multiple check-ff lists that will specify how far each participant is willing to go, lip kissing, french kissing, breathing in ears, licking...whatever...all the way to intercourse. Each choice will have to be dated and initialed by both (all) parties and then a photo will have to be taken and uploaded to the Cloud for posterity. This will also be a requirement for married couples, because, of course, just because one is married doesn't mean one is consenting to a particular act that particular time of day, or in that particular room.

I wouldn't vote for a guy bragging about sexual conquests. What an ass.

Yawn. You did read the survey in The Economist measuring, what people think is harassment? And in any event, the accusations are mostly not documented and by persons that, if they are true, let the perpetrators go free to do evil crimes on many other poor women that they could have saved.

hell anymore telling a women she looks nice is sexual harassment.
we have gone off the deep end.

You’ll have to show where a man has been brought up for sexual harrsssment for just telling a woman she looks nice. Your hyperbole noted and ignored.

Yes. It has gotten quite out of hand.

Pretty much like everyone does to what you say.
As usual you miss the point but that is expected.

Want are we reduced to ?
Adding up dem and repub bedders?
Men and women?
Pathetic, get a life
Jealous? Not getting enough?

How weird. Assuming it was consensual, what does sleeping with 50 women have to do with sexual harassment or assault?

Here’s what’s going on...

It is you whose missed the point. Consensual v.s. attacking or harassing. Unless this judge has attacked 50 women he's got nothing to be worried about. Bill Clinton would not have been impeached had he not suborned perjury. People in this country are free to have all the extra-marital sex they want.

Consensually

If you think there's a gray area regarding what constitutes consent, then you're a neanderthal.

Please show me an instance of that in the onslaught of cases coming forward.

The fact you have no clue to point I was making why did you bother responding?
Funny other people were able to get it except you.

What is worse is that you didn't even read what I was responding to.
Maybe you should do that.

The point is lost on you as well congrats.

When nobody is getting the point then the problem may lie with the person attempting to make the point.

Not really other people got he point and even liked the post. So if you read what I was responding to gen my comment makes sense.
But reading and understanding seems to be and issue at times here.

It seems I'm not the only one you're accusing of misrepresenting your post. At some point you're going to have to stop blaming the reader. Either rephrase what you're saying or accept that you're a very poor communicator.
