What normal person just needs to be right no matter what. Trump is continuing this argument insisting that he said La David. It's really sad an pathetic for anyone to argue with a person or family in grief. It is really childish to always have to be right no matter what, even to the extent of fighting with a widow.

Does Trump seem to care that General Kelly put himself out there on his behalf? That now General Kelly reputation has been soiled for an issue that Trump created by not being a gentleman. That's right! A gentleman would have re extended his sympathies to the family, thus this whole sad affair would have been put to bed in a couple of days. Well Trump doesn't seem to care. Trump is more interested in proving a point that at this point, only he cares about.

I say a man always has the right to defend himself, and I note that Trump did not start this fight.

Trump has gone well out of his way to fight with Gold Star parents and now a pregnant Gold Star widow.

Not cool of any president to engage in such inexcusable behavior ... especially a silver-spoon president who shirked duty via five deferments.

Lets not forget, he likes people that weren't captured during Vietnam.

He has no actual respect for military families or vets themselves. All of that kind of stuff should be off limit for him but the fact he goes there...says a lot.

If you can call a person that badgers a grieving widow a "man". I have trouble with that.

We do live in Peak Victim Culture, the men of old knew that it is the truth that matters most, not our victim status.

I think Trump only has so much material so he has to cycle through them all again, and again. Remember how he started this back after the DNC??? That was exactly one year ago!

That's a "great" America?

Note, wealthy playboy gets draft deferral, becomes president, picks on dead soldier's families.

Oh, that's "great"

A "man" would have the decency to let it slide. A "man" would know that the highest of the land is NOT the appropriate office in which to launch an attack on an everyday citizen.

A "man" would have apologized in the first place.

You do not have a man in the White House, you have a frightened little boy who doesn't even understand what a being a leader means. He is petty, belligerent, self centered and stupid. He needs to start defending that.

LOL All this BS about the "truth" and your hero is the biggest liar in Presidential history. Contradict yourself much?

Actually, Trump completely started this fight, and continues to disgrace himself and his cult by attacking the family of a man who did far more for this country than Trump.

The men of old would have punched anyone who attacked the military and the families of US soldiers killed on action the way Trump and his cult have through a window.

They didn't tolerate boot licking whiners and draft dodgers insulting people who gave their lives for this country.

Telling the truth after one has been accused is not an attack except to lowlifes. . If you want to call this an attack then you first need to prove that Trump is lying, which I dont believe has been done.

The victim in this story is Trump.

Sure he needs to defend himself from a grieving widow. A president is supposed to be diplomatic. A simple statement saying (I regret that my words failed to comfort you and your family in your time of sorrow. Please know that my deepest sympathies are with you.

Had he issued a statement similar to this, General kelly would not have gotten involved and he (Trump) would have emerged seemingly more presidential.

Couldn't agree more. Trumpian's really don't know who they elected. I find it difficult to see how the Trumpian's can call their steadfast support of this person in America's best interest. Seems more like their narrow interest.

A grieving widow who OKed a sitting US CongressCritter who is deeply hostile to Trump to make the death of her husband in the service to his nation poltical fodder.....if she did not this woman with dark skin in a hat has behaved abominably in her attack on Trump.

Victims do not have anymore right to attack than does anyone else....had victim culture gotten this right it might have been a good thing that sticks around.

But nope, and so victims regularly become abusers and the cycle keeps going, keeping the victim minders employed.

I honestly feel that Trump is a very sick person. 27 psychiatrist and mental health professionals say so in the Book "The Dangerous case of Donald Trump " By Bandy Lee, M.D. , M.Div.
We have a republican senate and congress that lacks the spinal fortitude to do what they pledged an oath to do. To protect and defend the United States of America against all enemies foreign and domestic. I don't put him in the category of an enemy but he is a "Clear and Present Danger". Their cowardice will not go unnoticed.

Nuclear Apocalyptic trump has Al Capone disease. Apparently, he didn't get through his fight with STDs during the Vietnam War after all ...

He does not abide by Victim Culture, Nor do I, Nor should you.

Trump is the victim here, I have no complaints with Trump here.

It does not matter. If Trump were man enough, he should have just backed off. But that is not him so that IS the problem. Even some of his strongest supporters are starting to have second thoughts about this guy. I believe the guy is just sick, sick, sick. But as more people are saying, he does not care. Not caring could be very risk for this country because of him.

But no problem, as long as he has his base who strongly support him regardless, nothing will change. Too bad, because that will probably result in tragedy.

Mark my words, bud. When Trump gets this country into a BIG PROBLEM because of who he is, people like you will regret. Mark my words, bud.
