This editorial in the NY Times catalogs the lies Trump has told since January 20th. There are hundreds and hundreds of them. Each has a link that discusses the facts associated with the lies. I am thankful that our media is not letting Trump get away with falsehoods. That's what responsible media does. Say what you will about other presidents, but none has lied as much as Trump, and it's only been 9 months. If he cannot change this behavior, he will become our worst ex-president ever.

So we have catalogued nearly every outright lie he has told publicly since taking the oath of office. Who else remembers the endless debates about whether or not the GWB Admin technically lied?
Those were lengthy and heated.

We used to care a lot if an Admin lied.

But it has become such a given that the Trump Admin lies that even Trumpco customers don't bother to defend the fact.

No, it is that we now understand that we get lied to so often that Trump is barely special in that regard.

You started the post with the word "no", but then you go on to agree with the post.

Saying other folks lie as well is not actually a rebuttal to charges that it's a given Trumpco lies frequently.

In America awards increasingly are given for right politics rather than quality, they dont mean what they used to mean, back when we were better.
 
Liberal controlled media such as NY Times along with NBC,CBS(especially) and ABC will always claim our President lies. It's payback for Hillary and this dude called obama as they were caught lying to America.

What is sad is that enough people fell for this narcissistic con artist lies to get him into office.
And then what is even sadder is they keep backing him even after he has been proven to be a liar and failure, and hands down the worst president in history.

And why did that happen if you are correct?

In large part because the journalists suck now.

Their gross failures during this election are very well known.

They have only gotten worse since, they seem to have no interest in doing it right, most of them.

I think a lot of the reason that people are still defending him is because they rode that Trump Train really hard, and now that they want to get off, they can't do it without everybody seeing them disembark. They are afraid of a bunch of people saying, "I told you so."

Even Fox News has his approval rating down from 42% to 38%. That's got to speak for something.

If I didn't believe it I would not written a response.
I have to laugh at some of the posters from Thoughts and TFS with their complaints about our President. They had their chances to vote for queen wannabe Hillary or St. Bernard Sanders. So why not hit the medias and call Mr. Trump a liar ? I'm sure this will interfere with all the positive decision makings he's made and more to come(smiling).

They didn't all fall for his lies. There were many who voted for him in spite of his pathological propensity. Trump lies for no reason. The episode with Sergeant La David Johnson's family was Trump lying about something that he didn't need to lie about or even defend. The statement " He knew what he signed up for but I guess it hurts anyway." wasn't disrespectful, it just wasn't sensitive. All Trump needed to do was issue a statement that he was sorry that his words fell short of giving comfort during the families time of grief, but the family should please know that his deepest sympathies are with them.
Simple: This would have been diplomatic, presidential and honest. All the things that most people want our president to be. It would have avoided the spectacle we saw with General Kelly as well. But Trump must always lie and always fight. Even with a Gold Star Family. Now even in the face of that disgraceful display his base runs to his defense. Sad.... Very Sad!
