Drain the swamp. Or build and annex on the swamp.

Yesterday, VP Pence engaged in a blatant political stunt paid for by the US taxpayer costing big dollars.

The price tag for Pence's trip to Indianapolis - CNNPolitics

CNN)How much did Vice President Mike Pence's trip to Indianapolis to watch -- and then abruptly leave -- a football game Sunday between the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers cost?

Here is an estimate of just the air costs (which does not include costs of advance personnel, Secret Service or support on the ground):
According to the Air Force, flying a C-32, the model of plane used for Air Force 2, for one hour costs about $30,000. Pence's flight from Las Vegas to Indianapolis Saturday took about three hours and 20 minutes, so it cost about $100,000
Pence then flew from Indianapolis to Los Angeles on Sunday, which took about four hours and 45 minutes, costing about $142,500.

The grand total: about $242,500.
And this fro the party that wants to cut domestic government spending and drain the swamp.

“FAKE NEWS”

Wasn’t VP Pence on company time?

Enough with the feigned concern over government spending, it's simply not believable.

Wasting taxpayers money is fine if it's Trump/Pence doing it?

I'm fine when government money is spent on infrastructure, healthcare, education etc.

I'm not fine when it's spent on someone flying to a game they know they will walk out of. It was a political stunt and had no purpose except to rile up his base.

If you don't find anything wrong with that then YOU are the hypocrite if you've ever talked about government waste.

BFD. He sent a great message.

A message of government waste, lying and being a Trump puppet. Yea great message! He also has yet to condemn the new Neo Nazi protests in Charlottesville... guess going after those darn black athletes protesting institutional racism is more important than the white supremacists.

haha...did he though, Maggie, mah buddy? Who's mind did he change, for all your tax dollars? It only further crystallized the division... Money well spent? Not so convinced over here... :)

Walking out in phony disgust when your fellow Americans exercise their constitutional rights is a "great message" in your opinion?

Yes. Vote with your feet. If there is one symbol of American unity, our flag and anthem represent two. Their message is completely lost and inappropriate.

Isn't it true that anywhere Pence decided to go would cost money?

I'm getting the distinct feeling that it's only because he made the players look like fools that some are whining about the money that would have been spent no matter where he and his wife went.

What message did he send Maggie? His feigned outrage was a joke....and the only ones that don't see it are the ones who can't because they've got their nose so far up Trumps ass that they can't see anything except his butt cheeks.

He didn't make the players look like a fool. The only one he made look like a fool was himself with his feigned outrage stunt.

The world must be pretty dull today, if we are exciting about the deputy CIC can use a plane or not.

I thought we were draining the swamp and saving the taxpayer money? This is the opposite. And that is relevant and important everyday of the week.
