Devastating news for Trump and his supporters.

President Donald Trump is unfit for office, isn't level-headed, and should stop tweeting, a majority of voters said in a Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday.
Overall, 56% of voters say Trump is not fit to serve as president. Trump's disapproval rating is 57%, with only 36% of voters approving of the job he's doing amid his administration's response to the devastation in Puerto Rico and his party's failure to pass legislation repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act.

56% of Americans say that Trump is unfit for the office he holds. This goes far beyond not merely approving of him or not liking him or not supporting him or not being in favor of a policy initiative he may have. A clear majority of Americans feel Trump is UNFIT for the office of he presidency.

I know of no such similar finding in my lifetime for any other holder of the Oval Office and I go back to 1949.

Polls show that despite the three or four point bump of two weeks ago for working with Democrats in Congress, Trump has retreated to the mid to high thirties in approval ratings - again.

It was obvious before he became President that the likelihood of his being unfit for the job was near certain. What is astounding is the whining goung on about spilled milk.

Much as I find myself laughing at the current state of DC, I have to ask; what does the public plan to do about it?

Being generally disliked isn't an impeachable offense, and aside from really bad hair, I think any legal eagle would be hard pressed to find grounds for removal.

What do the other 44% think?

And congress is at 15%. Even though they control the government right now they are not getting major things done. Who's to blame?

What percent of those he say he is unfit could name the V.P. or the two senators from their state. Just saying.

A most fitting and excellent question.

Well if you control everything and you can get nothing done, its the in control who are to blame.

I have no idea. Do you?

And why is that relevant? Americans have a right to their opinion regardless if they can pass a civics test or not.

Is it all Trump? I think it is mostly his problem since he is so erratic in his decision making.

That's funny. That should be a requirement of participation.

We know how accurate polls are, don't we? The Left, of all groups, should have learned that lesson by now.

I would agree with that. Trump is so irresponsible and so incompetent and so outright ignorant of basic facts about policy and issues that people are noticing .... and they do not like it.

Its one thing for a majority to say they do not support a president. Its a far more serious indictment for a majority to say he is unfit for office.

The hair might do it.

All joking aside, I've never understood the whole hair thing. Why would anyone go with that look?

What a joke. Obviously biased poll yields desired results.

https://poll.qu.edu/national/release-detail?ReleaseID=2487

From September 21 - 26, Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,412 voters nationwide with a margin of error of +/- 3.1 percentage points, including the design effect. Live interviewers call landlines and cell phones.

LOL! From the same poll.
By a narrow 48 - 44 percent voters approve of Trump's handling of the economy.

Didn't QP ptedict a Clinton landslide?

Funny...I think 56% of Americans are unfit to make a truly unbiased, informed vote in this country.

I believe what makes him most unfit for office, is his divisiveness. He has done nothing to unite the country. Instead, his tweets and off-the-cuff remarks are dividing the country more than ever. He is even divisive with his own Party's leaders in the House and the Senate. He's already fired so many on his staff, or they've resigned, because they can't associate with him. The "Great Divider" will wear heavily on people, more and more, as time goes on.

too bad that 56% did not bother to show up at the polls last november when their opinions would have been meaningful

so, we elected the president we deserved

now we live with the results

100% of us

My friend, if you can answer that, you will forever have a place among those intellectual gods like Albert Einstein, Marie Curie , Stephen Hawking, Erno Rubik, and that dude that invented the pet rock.

Exactly, we are getting the results we voted for, More Jobs, More in the labor force, less discouraged workers, less part time jobs for economic reasons, GDP growth now over 3% yet the left still focuses on rhetoric and ignores actual results. Rather sad to see so many people here focused on continued hatred for Trump. Wait until the tax policies are implemented and people see more spendable income in their paychecks. Wait until companies bring that overseas cash back into this country and the increase in wages accompanies that return. Wait until the country sees that GDP growth that never existed during the Obama term. I chose wisely and am happy with my choice. Finally a President that does what he says and is focused on the major responsibilities, economy and national security for nothing else matters

How about for once you prove what you and Baby Huey say is true.

Unimpeachable & independent proof.

Trump and his ilk may as well stop talking all together....so far the closest we've gotten to honesty has been an accident, or what your White House calls leaks.

Like so many nursery rhyme examples you all have laid down too many lies to be believed on ANYThING.

Your word is no good, let's see some independent statistics, because if you guys are claiming job growth anywhere it means maybe some plant in the rust belt has hired back 15 workers.
