Yes I am. I also would rather not make this thread about Kobie in particular, but his assertion about Ben Shapiro. I suspect many people have this view due to his blatant disregard for a lack of personal responsibility etc.

Well, when they're getting busted for assaulting cops I figure it's more than just "protesting". See, they aren't merely protesting what Shapiro and others are saying. They're trying to prevent them from saying it altogether.

His analysis is the same cookie cutter right-wing talking points that are a dime dozen in today's political climate. Nothing he says is new or original, and his only skill is talking really fast -- annoyingly so. Like many conservative figures, he is an arrogant douche that fancies himself more of an intellectual than he actually is.

If it weren't for the gravy train that is anti-SJW hysteria in this country, he would be another failed young conservative activist, and his fifteen minutes would have been up a long time ago.

Oh Shapiro is hated on the left no doubt. But the reason is because up against any leftist he leaves his opponents busted, neutered and made to look like fools.

His speech at Berkeley was spot on, and the rabid leftists hated that he was allowed to speak it.

Not really. He blows every radical element of leftism out of proportion, while ignoring as much of the radical elements of the right as he can. Even in the midst of Charlottesville he was doing his typical spin doctor performance on how the left were still the 'real' problem. There really isn't anything guys like him won't blame liberals for - even things we have nothing to do with, or denounce ten fold politically.

I believe you, I don't condone it, but I still don't give a ****. This is the internet. People say sick twisted things about their political opponents on both the right and left. If I wanted to I could provide a laundry list of disgusting things conservative trolls and commentators have said and done, but I'll assume that like me, you've got better things to do.
 
It doesn't take someone to idolize someone to know their standards are sound across the board.
