He's buffoonishly hackish (anyone remember the "Friends of Hamas" incident? So one story is your basis for this? And yet you have nothing else other than he is right wing? Please. So he made a mistake and would not apologise for it. Since when does everyone who does something wrong have to apologise for it? I mean seriously how many times has CNN, MSNBC etc had to pull a story for being wrong? I mean if that is all you have?

This again points out exactly what he is saying about aspects of the modern left and right. Your arguments are basically that he is right wing, therefore you feel you don't have the responsibility to refute anything hs has said on the issues he brought up in his speech or the points he made in the Q and A. Please this thread is not about me, it is about Ben Shapiro's speech and Berkeley. So far you have done nothing and brought up nothing of any worth to the thread.

It wasn't his best imo, he was a little more combative than normal. I still enjoyed it though and the abortion part during the Q and A was pretty funny.

I'm still laughing at the protestors that are chanting about white supremacists and Trump, if they actually did any research on him then they would know he agrees with them for the most part.

If you did any research you'd know that he doesn't agree with the protestors on socialism, feminism, abortion, LGTB rights, Palestinians, BLM, etc.

I think the protestors have legitimate reasons to disagree with him.

I enjoy listening to Shapiro, but I don't take him too seriously. He offers some interesting counter food for thought that you don't typically find in the mainstream media. My critique of him is that he places debate strategy above fact checking. He can disarm opponents easily but it's not necessarily because of solid intellectual content. Back in college a lot of the law school debates were open to the campus to build an audience and I loved going to watch them. His debate style is very law school esque, very by the book. Cold, cutting, quick and off the cuff... but not necessarily winning material. He used his time at school wisely. Some of the statistics and facts he repeats in all of his speeches, I find suspicious. For instance, that trans people have the exact same suicide rate before or after gender reassignment surgery. I've never seen anything scientific in the literature to back that up.

But like I said, I enjoy listening to him. He challenges the status quo in a way that I find interesting, in small doses. If I get too involved in watching him talk, his irate voice starts to become grating and even a bit whiny. Still, as far as demagogues go, he's pretty entertaining. It's hard to find right wing speakers sort of worth listening to that don't come across as rabid, crazy or religious. He has a rationale for everything he says, even if I disagree with it.

All the crap happening at Berkley just because of his speech on campus is pretty laughable. The SJW left in the U.S. is pretty out of control and you can tell that they have gained too much power over thought control on campuses. It manifests in their level of entitlement to commit violence simply because they oppose viewpoints of a speaker. Pretty pathetic.

I don't find Shapiro pro-fascist at all, or white nationalist. His lean is libertarian from everything I've witnessed. But yeah... not exactly a high level speaker. A lot of redundancy if you ask me. Maybe it'll change as he becomes more seasoned. Still a million times more tolerable than Milo though!

So please feel free to point out an actual piece of misinformation or hypocrisy. I watched the whole thing and saw none of that. I would also like an example of the "mischaracterization" of the left? So far your post is just ranting about your opinion of nothing. Then throwing in a few ad hominems to show how much you dislike him. Unfortunatly that is not in any way an argument.
