Seems someone noticed the similarities of Brietbart's headlines and those from Klan newspapers of the 20s. the article has a quiz with 16 headlines and you have to guess 20s Klan or Breitbart. I got 13 correct.

"Recently, he was browsing around in a new database of Ku Klux Klan newspapers from the 1920s when he noticed how eerily similar the headlines in some of the regional and national Klan publications the database catalogs were to those that have run on Breitbart of late."

Quiz tests whether headlines came from Breitbart or 1920s KKK newspapers.

9 out of 16 -- basically random chance odds. Given that there was no meaningful difference as far as content, I tried to guess based on what I thought might have been more common language in one era over the other, but even that didn't help me more than a couple times.

Some things never change...

11 out of 16.

Little discernible difference between KKK ideology and Bannonland.

Judging by the poll most of the questions this equates opposing illegal immigration and unrestricted immigration to racism. So its a crock **** quiz cooked up some by some anti-American illegal alien testicle licker.

1. “Who is Responsible for the Crime Wave?”

2.“Reporters Cover Up Evidence of Immigration Crime Wave”

3.“One New Immigrant for Every Two U.S. Births”

4. “One Foreigner Enters by Stealth for Every One Who Is Legally Admitted, Immigration Men Say”

5. “Nearly Three Hundred Thousand Illegal Entries Make Many More Unemployed to Care for”

6."Texas Companies tie Worker Shortages to immigration fears"

7.“Intolerance—Who Is Practicing It In America?”

8.“Liberal Intolerance: You Believe What?”

9. “Immigration Laws Protect America, Expert Asserts”

10.“The Immigration System Needs to Protect American Workers and Taxpayers”

11. “Thousands of … Illegal Immigrants Busted with Forged Papers at Border”

12.“Forged Papers Found in Plot of Foreigners to Enter U.S.”

13.“America Was Built on Her Citizens”

14. “America Is For Americans”

15. “Alien Is Trying To Nullify U.S. Immigration Law: Backers Try Appeal To Country’s Sympathy”

16.“Senators Denounce President for Threatening ‘Entire Constitutional System’ by ‘Nullifying’ Immigration Laws”

Re: Take the quiz:Guess Whether These Headlines Came From Breitbart or 20s KKK Newspa

9/16. This was harder than I thought it would be.

All this piece of stupid is is a glaring example of cherry-picking. The sad thing is that there are peopel who will think that this is significant, when in fact all it does is show just how vulnerable they are to simple emotion manipulation. This is blatantly cherry-picked that you have to choose to ignore that fact or just be so lazy that you won't make the mental effort to stop and think or just be another liberal bigot who wants to justify their hate.

I used my football picking "trick" on a few of them. I simply thought to myself "no way is that from the 21st Century and not from a KKK newspaper" so I clicked Brietbart.

You're right about one thing, people will think its significant. And those people are conservatives because you and James are both ranting at it. It was so significant to James he had to post homo erotic insults. While "wah wah cherry picking" is not as bad as Jame's homo erotic insults, it was just as pointless. the article showed exactly what it meant to show: that headlines from the KKK in the 1920s are indistinguishable from current Brietbart headlines.

and speaking of "simple emotion manipulation", remember when you believed President Obama was born in Kenya, his BC a forgery, he was a secret Muslim terrorist, he wanted to kill old people, his stimulus would cause hyperinflation, dollar collapse, market to zero and the vile and disgusting "stand down" lies? I do.

I never bought into the birger crap. I never beleived he was muslim or a terrorist, that he wanted to kill old people or any of the idiotic crap you posted. I do belive however that you love this cherry-picked crap because it lets you hate.

Good for you but the fact is conservatives did believe that crap and in large numbers. You did express concern about "simple emotion manipulation." I guess you're over it. Anyhoo, the fact remains, the article showed exactly what it meant to show: that headlines from the KKK in the 1920s are indistinguishable from current Brietbart headlines. Your rant doesn't change the facts. And try not to be ranting when you accuse me of hate.

No, all it shows it that someone was able to pick out a handful of headlines that have certain similarities and throw them in front of people who want to believe that those similarities mean something. It only proves that someone was able to be dishonest and that there are people who either willing to believe that kind of dumb crap or are too stupid to see it for what it is.

I'm curious why you think they don't mean anything? They are multiple examples of of two sources that spout language with similar meanings. If that's not significant, it's not significant that I sound like a liberal--just because you could pick out some quotes of mine that are similar to what other liberals say doesn't mean I'm an actual liberal, eh?

Fs, you're making progress. You finally admit the article showed exactly what it meant to show: that headlines from the KKK in the 1920s are indistinguishable from current Brietbart headlines. this is a big step for you. I just have to question your "definition" of dishonest. We both agree the article showed exactly what it meant to show: that headlines from the KKK in the 1920s are indistinguishable from current Brietbart headlines. Can you explain how that is dishonest. And why am I "too stupid" for finding it rather funny that headlines from the KKK in the 1920s are indistinguishable from current Brietbart headlines. do you have a special definition for "too stupid" also?
