Trump and job creation

But July 2017 was 2 million higher than July 2016. What happened? In August 2016, employment went up 109,000 and in August 2017, employment went DOWN 73,000.
Got it, you now want to compare Trump vs Trump instead of Trump vs Obama. Tell me is 600000 less part time for economic reasons and 1.8 million more employed a good or bad thing vs Obama

No, I was still comparing 2016 to 2017. In 2016, employment went up from July to August. In 2017, employment went down from July to August. NONE of the increase from August 2016 to August 2017 occurred in August 2017.

Well, fewer part time for economic reasons is clearly an improvement. For employed we have to put it in context and look at the emp-pop ratio...which did increase 0.3 percentage points, so that's also a good thing.
But you're lacking context. How does Trump's change from 2016 to 2017 compare to Obama's from 2015 to 2016? Or if you really want to just look at Presidents, August 2016 compared to August 2008?
I'll help you out: the change in employment was higher from August 2015 to August 2016 than August 2016 to August 2017, and the drop in PTER was greater from August 2016 to August 2017 than Aug 2015 to 2016.

So that would be comparing Obama to Obama on a month to month basis, I compared Trump to Obama which you seem to not understand. There isn't any employment/unemployment number today that is worse than Obama's and that is the issue and something you want to ignore. Change in employment isn't higher as we continue to set records for both employment and labor force and the higher the number the lower the percentage change is going to be. That is a fact.

Here is what you and everyone else wants to ignore
