If I remember correctly, the right wing groups didn't attack anyone until they, themselves were attacked by left wing groups. You didn't read my post very carefully. Both groups are low lives.

The Democrats have gone all in on a platform of identity politics and pandering to this coalition of victims they feel they need to win elections.

Policy driven messaging has been replaced by divisive demagoguery and pandering buf that only appeals to the Left, to everyone else its insulting and divisive.

Media outlets like CNN and WaPo have always been in the a tank for the Democats and the Dems messaging they relied on over the last 8 years to win elections has gotten even more divisive and void of substance, so nothings changed.

So how exactly are they going to win back the majority by preaching to the choir ?

Eisenhower ran as a Republican and signed the 1957 Civil Rights act so does that make him a Liberal ?

Conservatives believe in limited government, rights of the indivual over the collective, natural law or the existence of immutable moral truths, American exceptionalism, free markets and a Govt answerable to and constrained by the will of the people

Theres nothing inherently racist or devisive in those principles

Eisenhower certainly espoused liberal principles with the 1957 Civil Rights Act, though he did say his worst mistake as President was appointing Earl Warren to the Supreme Court.

And if you believe all those "Conservative" credentials, why do you support a non-conservative true demolite like Trump?

You can't have it both ways, Fenton.

Trump is and has never been a Conservative.

I like all Conservatives had to make a compromise this past election. I weighed my principles against the likelhood of Hillary Clinton appointing 2, possibly 3 Supreme Court Justices.

After that it was a easy decision. Hillary would have had two right off the bat because Ginsberg would have stepped down

I would think all america other than the alt right that now has control of the republicans are anti-fascist, yes that is fair to say. As Colbert said the opposite of Alt right is not Alt left it's "not nazi's".

I find the assumption that minorites are predisposed to a specific political ideology offensive

The idea that they lack the objectivity to think independantly and thats somehow based on the color of their skin is a extension of the even more offensive assertion that because of the color of their skin theyre inherent victims and will always need Govt to protect them
