'Son of Sam' killer David Berkowitz said a dog told him to murder. That has more credence than your claim of BLM causing Johnson to murder. You can't show any factual BLM statements to urge anyone to kill cops.

Show proof that BLM said anything purposely causing Johnson to murder those cops and that it's "black extremists", meaning it's a case of blacks as a race, that are the driving force behind cop killings.

It most certainly is a slur. The Alt left is impossible to reason with. Any attempts at discussion are met with being called Nazis or alt right. Even if the people attempting to discuss with them are liberal themselves.

It is absolutely a slur and because you think anybody that slur's the extreme left is automatically "alt-right" I can only assume you are irrational alt-left.

I wish to slur your ideology. I find it vile and repugnant and its the best way to get people laughing at you. Simply applying an apt label and watching you cry about it only makes me want to do it more.

When the alt left cries about being labeled alt left, you know you've aptly named them.

Despite the attempts of ecofarm to claim labeling the alt left aptly is really to advance the alt right. You and I and every other reasonable person in the center left center right and middle know we are just saying they aren't much different than the alt right.

This is the smartest thing a person can do. We don't ever want to see the loony fringes of political spectrum as reasonable.

Don't justify it. Don't apologize for it. Call a spade a spade. They absolutely are alt left. They would call you a Nazi and justify punching you for simply disagreeing with them.

I found it interesting that in his first post ecofarm attempted to say anybody that labeled the alt left as such was really doing it to help the alt right.

I made a thread about being central in the spectrum. I'm petty close, just a tad right. Mostly libertarian. He said that I'm doing it to legitimize the alt right. To him that's why anybody does it.

This has been the only tool in the alt left box for decades. They Try to associate people who disagree with them with absurd groups in an attempt to coerce agreement.

Not saying you did fall for it, but nobody should. People know their own positions way better than the alt left does. Pawns may jump on the bandwagon so as to prove to the loudest voice that they aren't Nazis... excuse me...alt right. But don't be scared, into hiding. Have you seen these people? You'd have no issue defending yourself.

Not really the same ideology. Today's wannabees spout similar beliefs but are not taking similar violent steps to acheive their goals. The difference between today's wannabees and nazis is the same difference we see between the average Muslim and the Muslim terrorist.

Two completely different animals. It's anti-intellectual to tie either of the two groups together.

No one is calling them WWII Nazis. No one is claiming they are time travelers. Do you have any ability, whatsoever, to maintain context? Is every word in a sentence a unique thought to your reading?

It's an ideology. Racist nationalism. That's all there is to it.

Yes the alt right is a tiny bit of people that support identitarian politics.

Also nationalism is a liberal ideal as much as it is conservative. Believing that the nation should be able to govern itself autonomously is necessary for liberty. Liberalism is about having rights the government can't infringe upon.

If course the alt right isn't really right it's quite close to the alt left.

I identify ideologies as the alt left. Such as communism, socialism and globalism. I call these alt left because they aren't even close to liberalism.

You don't have to accept the term or its meaning but words and the concepts they describe come into existence when they are used. The alt left has appeared in the lexicon and if I speak to people using that word they know what I mean. Whether somebody identifies that way or not makes no difference.

But you shouldn't be offended. Basically communism and socialism is the antithesis of liberalism because they depend on totalitarianism.

If you are none of those things and you are liberal, I'm not talking about you. If you are you should wear it as a badge of honor.

Deep down -- you understand that the white nationalists of today are nothing like the real nazis. You know that. You simply can't stop calling them that, however, because it reduces your argument, and you can't have that.
