Palpatine would be pissed that his Down Syndrome nephew is running the show, and basically just copying him less effectively. I should give you my usual rant about how much I hate Episode 7: A Newer Hope sometime when it isn't 4 in the morning.

Especially since she apparently is egging him on. Hardly the "best" person for the job. There are far more qualified people. Especially, conservative media people with decades of experience. Something tells me that Trump did not hire her solely for her expertise.

Eh? Even with it on, he struck me as an angsty teenager. "LOVE ME GRANDPA! RRRRREEEEEEEE!"

I could live with all the individually bad stuff in Episode 7 - Rey knowing how to fix the Falcon better than Han did, Kylo being Anakin if you stripped away his looks, charming personality, and excuses for being evil, that GODDAMN THIRD ****ING DEATH STAR THAT ALSO GOT DESTROYED WITH ONE SHOT IN THE FIRST BATTLE IT WAS IN... but there's one thing that I cannot forgive, and it's that TFA lacked the spirit of Star Wars. The prophecy wasn't worth jack ****. The Force wasn't balanced, the New Republic never got any better than its predecessor - in fact, it was arguably far worse, Luke didn't restore the Jedi... we ended up right back where we started, more or less. We're still left with a shattered galaxy, an evil empire, and a prodigy in a desert. Nobody has learned or changed anything, not even after half a century of war. We are doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past, no matter how many billions of lives are lost because of them, and every ray of hope is just a sick inside joke for a new generation to fall for.

That's why I can't forgive TFA for it's shortcomings and flaws.

It's been over 200 days; he doesn't deserve a wait and see anymore. This President has had too many wait and sees. The last one was John Kelly wait and see and we saw how well that worked out. I highly doubt a 28 year old model will ever tell trump to shut up

Technically speaking, all of those guys had several decades of character development, but the movie was poorly handled for various reasons. I was more referring to the crapton of new comics Marvel has decided to just throw everywhere, many of which aren't doing very well. Apparently, they've taken a bit of a SJW spin with many of them, which would be perfectly fine if they weren't also poorly written - much as the new writers want to pretend otherwise, their racially inclusive characters are not a brand new idea at Marvel, and such characters have sold well for years.

Oh, OK. I agree with you that the movie was ****, and it made me sad because I really wanted it to be good.

Oh well. Hopefully Justice League will be good.
