The 'inspiration' that led to this post was a comment on my other thread. It claimed that "radical leftists aren't trying to gain power, while white supremacists are". That of course is pretty much the exact opposite of the truth! Your movement is the most radical in our history!
One of the left's heroes is Che Guevara. He famously said "our revolution cannot succeed with a free press". ANYWHERE that modern leftists gain power, they quickly begin finding all sorts of underhanded, cowardly ways of DENYING FREE SPEECH. There is a strong movement by so called intellectuals in colleges and government who are busting their butts to manipulate Americans into supporting the denial of free speech as well.
They want much bigger and more restrictive government. They want criminal penalties for "offensive speech", which the leftists of Canada have already implemented(call a person a woman, who identifies as a man, and that's a crime, and you can be charged!)
Leftists want an END to the 2nd amendment, and they want draconian sentences for minor gun issues, that may not even involve an actual gun!). They want government to forcibly take guns away from the populace of needed.
They almost always support, endorse or at least ignore violence from their own people, against any dissenter. There's a video on YouTube of The Young Turks commentator calling for mass left wing violence! They want anyone with a non-leftist opinion to be removed from the airwaves, tv etc.
