A Reformed White Nationalist Speaks Out On Charlottesville : NPR

Christian Picciolini has his head screwed on straight: this is a good read for lost Alt Righties.

"He says he was a 'lost and lonely' teenager when he was recruited by a white nationalist group. Picciolini immersed himself in the organization's ideology and by age 16, he had emerged as the leader of a group called the Chicago Area Skinheads. He even helped recruit others to the cause. That is until, he says, he had an awakening after the birth of his first child. Picciolini says he renounced ties to the neo-Nazi movement in 1996 when he was 22 years old. He went on to co-found a group called Life After Hate and wrote a book entitled Romantic Violence: Memoirs of an American Skinhead.

Now the reformed white nationalist runs a nonprofit that advocates for peace. "The rhetoric that's coming out of the White House today is so similar to what we preached ... but in a slightly more palatable way." He understands all too well "too well the type of anger that was on display in Charlottesville, Va., over the weekend."

And this severely partisan antiTrump activist is being given as a witness? That's cute. ;)
But hey! You aren't being serious, are you?

It's tough to accept the criticism of one who once believed as you, I am sure. Hang in there.

I see that you prefer Richard Spencer and David Dukes recent comments in support of Trump's response to Charlottesville?

They actually are claiming that Trump is carrying out his promises that they support - based on his responses to this tragic incident. Guess you do too.
