The totality of the eclipse is going right through Dixie and the heart of Nashville and Columbia. I'll be in far southern Illinois for it next Monday ...

Yeah I'm in the path of the totality, barely. Should be an interesting show.

On the not-so-great side, the state is issuing warnings that we may get huge floods of visitors from out of state, to the point of traffic jams, cell tower overloads, and so forth.... hope it isn't that bad.

My fall 'ensemble' (how metro sexual of you to know such words) usually includes some hunting gear- feral hogs, nice bucks and the occasional coyote.
