Your boy Trump is front-and-center with a spotlight on him and you put him there. He's the President and he's the one under scrutiny, not Hillary or Barack.
Besides, I thought Trump was supposed to be the better choice? Why do Trumpers always do the "Butbutbut Hillary!" thing, like Trump and Clinton are on an equal footing? If Hillary was a crooked shyster, why are you comparing your Dear Leader to a crooked shyster?

Very few seem to care about truth or civility or what is best for the kids that we are leaving the place to at some point either.

Truth and civility? You knew he was a boorish liar when you voted for him. You knew you'd elected a boorish liar in those giddy, triumphant days after the election. Now you mourn the passing of truth and civility? Is this like Ted 'Obama's a subhuman mongrel' Nugent wanting everyone to hold hands and sing 'Kumbaya' now there's a Republican in that dump on the Potomac?

Strange thing to want and I agree, you're not likely to see much of it. Lines are drawn now. Teams chosen. Rules drawn up. Game on.
It's gonna take a sea change in the players, beginning with the administration, to make any kind of improvement.

That's not what a Grand Jury means. It's a normal procedural step for large investigations.

I know it can be hard after a dozen childish posts from those on the right but are you any better than them if you resort to the same tactic? Bring back intelligent discourse throughout the debate. I don't know what you're talking about as far as "you put him there". I voted for Johnson. However, if I'd been forced to pick between the two I'd have picked Trump. The biggest reason why is that he wasn't all pro-war and trying to start up the Cold War again, to the world's detriment. That said, the rest of our stupid government has been working overtime to ensure that we continue with all that BS. Oh, and Hillary was a globalist insider that had way too many connections.

So, yeah, he was "the better" choice between the two but they were/are both horrible choices. As far as "get used to it"...we're all "used to it". It's become so cliche that you're background noise or like that squeaky Styrofoam cup in your car that's super annoying.

Finally, at least you admit to not caring about fair. Not that anyone had any question on that point but admitting it is really big of you.

It's what I listen to in the Jeep, if my podcasts are caught up. I originally listened to that interview on the radio so I knew I could find it easily. Good news coverage, for the most part.

I have hated Trump since the 80's. Ol Bone Spur is unfit to be CIC, he lies almost daily, and is unfit to be CIC.

The trouble is the left wants to kick the right and then run away like a bunch of babies. Their excuse is, "But Hillary's (or Obama's) not the president". The fact is Republicans have the presidency, the House, and the Senate and the left wants the unfettered rights to attack Trump and the right and declare that the other side can't attack back. They consider it a one way street only.

I commend you for an attempt at fairness but the fact that you rate yourself as "very liberal" blinded you to the fact that yantrix is also very liberal and not a Trump supporter. Your bias made you make an assumption that was not correct. As much as you claim you want civility you kind of failed your very own test at being credible. Still, your cause is not totally hopeless.

I'm asking for liberals to behave and he comes in and tells me to delete my account. Yes, I mistook him for a Trump supporter because I have had actual Trump supporters say the same thing. He is certainly proving that he is as much of an ass as some of these Trump supporters are.

Now you've hit the nail on the head. While I do support you're attempt and asking both sides to be civil, it has fallen on deaf ears. There are just as many examples of pigheadedness on both sides not only here on DP but in the real world as well. BOTH sides have the mentality that it is either their way or the highway and has led to gridlock like we have never seen. Just for some examples of the left's pigheadedness is their admission that they are the resistance and will be anti-Trump no matter how high that absurdity takes them. Schumer and Pelosi have called for bipartisan efforts to fix healthcare, as long as they are Democratic fixes. When asked which ideas they would accept from Republicans on healthcare they can't name even one.

Now, I do realize that your endeavor is all about making your side look more sane in order to further your liberal agenda and you are 100% correct. Both the left and the right don't seem to understand that they are not going to influence anyone's opinion that is already on their side, leaving only moderates (such as myself) to be influenceable and neither side is going to be able to influence us in the middle when it comes to extreme partisanship nonsense, as you describe. In fact, many of those pigheaded liberals on here call me alt-right just because I refuse to listen to their partisan nonsense. Those people have driven me more to the right than in trying to have a sane conversation. And, it really insults me when I agree with them on one thing and then all of a sudden they think I am ripe for total conversion. That drives me even more to the right.
