Respectfully, using your point, there are number of Cabinet Secretaries and high level aides, assistants to the President, who have little to no experience in the jobs they now hold.

Correct

Which means expecting a third party to break through the rigged system is unrealIstic

But trump comes pretty close to being third party by beating the republicans at their own game in the primary and then against all odds and predictions winning the general election

But the short answer is that republicans (meaning base voters outside washington not the swamp creatures - think trump should be allowed to proceed with his agenda

It seems you forgot why I have been posting in this thread

You stated Republicans are free to think and democrats have to toe the party line. From just what you have posted it is clear any republican who does not toe a certain line is called a rino.


It reminds me of the Model T, you can have any colour you want as long as it is black

Being free to think usually refers to ordinary people not being told what to think from above

In your example henry ford did not have the power to make anyone buy a black model t if the wanted red

They could buy some other car that came in colors if they wanted to

Here is the post I was referring to and I replied that you don't allow diverse opinions regarding RINO's. Democrats are no different. They had the establishment side in last year's primaries and then there was Bernie Sanders "Democratic Socialists". They don't all think alike, just as all Republicans don't think alike.
