There is nothing in it that is Republican capitalist conservative so nothing there that a real Republican can support. Libsocialism has won the day. Single payer communism cant be far away. In truth, capitalist health care could cut prices by 80% (based on East/West Germany comparison and 132 others) and provide enough money to pay off the national debt in four years. Reason no long matters in America. We are all doomed to the fate of all nations.
 
James, where do you get this stuff? I'm all for paying my own way if it's possible. Tell me specifically how that can happen.

We've tried "capitalist" healthcare, and prices rose year after year, decade after decade, until it became completely unafforadble, leaving tens of millions of people without any health insurance and the insurance companies denying people for pre-existing conditions or meeting lifetime limits. It sucked. Most of the rest of the modern world has already figured out how 100% of their citizens can have full coverage for a fraction of the cost per capita. We're paying more and more to get less and less. Going back to letting the poor die isn't going to make healthcare cheaper.

FYI: Your own example of Germany is a perfect one. Every single German citizen has full health insurance, cradle to grave, for less than half what we're paying per capita. Let's do a hybrid system like theirs.

it can happen if enough Americans support capitalism. Unlikely though since liberals simple do not have the IQ to understand how capitalism works. Its very complicated compared to what they want which is welfare for all or free healthcare for all.

Prior to the creation of Medicare/Medicaid it was largely capitalist, but that was more than half a century ago. The problem is, we cant go back. The reason republicans cant come together on health care is because no matter what they come up with, it will contain massive federal responsibility. The right has accepted the idea that the state has a large role to play, so a free market solution wont even be brought up. Obamacare is here to stay. The best the right can do is make it run more efficiently. But after all, the right has long been nothing more than tax collectors and efficiency experts for the welfare state. That is why I find it so surprising that the left fis so filled with hatred for the right.

why not?? China just switched most industries to capitalism and they are booming. We cant go back to capitalism because liberals lack the IQ to understand capitalism

the left is socialist while the right is different, thus capitalist, so it is easy to see why the left hates the right. Do you understand?

they cant come together around capitalism simply because the electorate does not support capitalism yet

The right is NOT capitalist, at least the republican party is not.

And the right lacks the IQ to defend it. So we drift leftward. Which makes you wonder why the left is so angry and hateful all the time--they are winning. They have been for decades. I guess they just are bright enough to figure that out.

no idea why you say the problem is the teacher rather than students. Its a simple fact that liberals are liberals because they lack the IQ to understand capitalism. They understand welfare as the simple way to help people. There are plenty a great capitalist teachers around but you cant teach calculus to a goldfish or capitalism to a liberal.

very interesting!!!the left lacks the IQ to know that capitalism is the greatest social safety net by a factor of 10000 and thus they lack the IQ to know what socialism is too. So, they have more and more socialism but its unperceived owing to the liberal IQ. They can see however it does not work and so they naturally demand more welfare socialism to help people. They are really angry and hateful at socialism not working but don't know it. They can only understand that welfare obviously works, conservatives are getting in the way, and so even more welfare is necessary to correct for previous rounds of failed crippling welfare.
