No, he's one of the people making Trump's Chumps deflect and make absurd statements to back up their favorite non political politician.

So desperate to defend the Messiah, Trumpeteers are now quoting a nevertrumper.

Lets just say it's true for a second. Does that make it okay? Does "Hillary would do it" actually excuse anything?

Who said Government ties?
Theirs are Democrat Party ties.
They were behind the dossier and, as we see, some of the set of characters in the Junior meeting also worked with FUSION.
It was in the article.
Now, maybe you can say given how the Russian attorney managed to get into the Country and stay here that she might have Government ties.
That is an open question.

The reality is that it was Erickson who coined the #NeverTrump movement. He's not a Trumpkin. Other conservative Christian leaders sold their faith out to support a politician. He did not.

Ok, I went back and re read the OP and its link. Seems I misinterpreted what was being said. It looked like the Trumpers were trying to deflect from the Russian connection by saying that it was actually the Democrats who were in cahoots with them, but that's not the case. As I re read it, it makes more sense: Russia, like our own big corporations who have a stake in legislation, actually supported both sides, so they would have the attention of whoever won.

Now,that is possibility.
