Whats happens if The right doesn't get a new healthcare bill passed

And you talk about using doctors as a source when you bring up the scum bag Herman Cain as a source . the joke is on you buddy.

Herman is a talking head for WSB. Why is he a joke?

While there is much truth in your words, I still think you are overlooking the difference between "socialism" in the sense you are using it and the "socialism" of government control of a major and vital element of the economy.

While a third part does pay in the case of insurance, the consumer has willingly bought the insurance. That is not the case in government regulated healthcare.

That's a big part of the reason I origonally said "socialistic". Think of the "istic" being like "ish". You know, like you might say that you will be their at 8pm'ish - meaning sometime around 8. Insurance, whether private or government, has some of the same traits as things that we might consider socialism.

along with a long list of lies, the right wants to pass this guy off as a man of God , he is a puke and knows nothing about what his higher power wants for this country.

Keep on piling it, it would be so much easier just to have said you made a mistake and didn't know what Socialistic means. And since that fact is the truth you wouldn't be going through this nonsense, I mean how dare anyone think you made a mistake., which of course we all know you did. So go ahead and call me more names and insult me some more and I will just continue to do what I do. Sorry "ish" and the "istic" aren't your friends today.

Why would anyone care about that, the argument was on the word socialistic, something he says had nothing to do with socialism. He trying to manoeuvre his way around the fact that he doesn't know what he is talking about. The definition of socialism has never been a factor in this debate.

In discussion environments like this it is fairly common for one unable to make their point to come up with some convoluted response involving Merriam-Webster.

Okay, I can stipulate that Herman Cain is no man of God. I've even called him on telling lies to the audience - and the moment we got off the phone, he went right back to telling the lie after he just admitted that what he was saying was dishonest.

Cain, like his mentor Neal Boortz, is an entertainer. But he did look into Canada's health care system and, being a cancer survivor, I doubt that he misled people by telling them about Canada's waiting period to see a doctor.

Good as in easier on the doctors (no multiple insurance forms to deal with) or better because they make more money? The wrong person to ask is the doctors. Herman Cain, Atlanta radio talk show personality, is a cancer survivor. He is always saying that if had been in Canada and had to wait for weeks to months to see a doctor to be tested, he would have died as it was stage four and time was of the essence.

Pro tip: if you think listening to doctors on healthcare is wrong, bit listening to Herman Cain on healthcare is wise, you need to examine your thought processes.

A doctor cannot tell you how long it takes to get an appointment to see him. A patient can tell you how long it takes to get the appointment.

And Herman Cain in the US knows the Canadian healthcare system and reports on it objectively.

Right.

Oh come on , get real.

You've never been to a doctor apparently. Mine don't have a clue as to how long it will take to get an appointment. That's done downstairs... and you have to see a primary care physician who decides you need a specialist... who then refers you and sends you to the appointment desk, etc., etc. Then, that being the case, if I get desperate, I can go to a "quick clinic" and see a doctor in a matter of hours no matter what ails me.

Woopy ding, I know a guy or it's been my experience . so it's a total fact , nonsense

Whatever, dude. This is childish. I looked at Cain as being kind of like a reference point for the review of services - much like you look at reviews for any product or service. If this makes you feel good, have at it. It's not worth this much crap to argue over.

I'm simply saying he is not a resource for facts,so you using him as reference is silly. May I quote you" But he did look into Canada's health care system and, being a cancer survivor, I doubt that he misled people by telling them about Canada's waiting period to see a doctor. " Get real buddy he is nothing other then bull**** rhetoric that is the right slopping out party lines. Take a look at every single advanced industrial country in the world. All have government programs all of them way cheaper then Ours. I believe we pay twice what the nearest other country in that group pays per person annually and all of them have better healthcare then we do. Even Cuba has better health numbers then we do. Do some research and get away from the bull****. and clear your mind.

While you're talking about B.S. - more people come to the U.S. to get health care than there are people who leave the U.S. per capita. You can pay three times and not get as good a service.

I would ask anyone who is interested to go to this sight to find out his reference, it has almost nothing to do with resister post. The listing is a rating of its quality of it's internet resources which are assessed to measure the value of the internet sight. There are other things but hardly the idea that it shows the number of people from other countries that use it, All it is telling you is that we have by far the most hospitals and that countries that have bad hospitals , still have wealthy people , so what do you thing they would do.. Other then perimeters like availability of the number of services but not if it is the best service compared to other hospitals. This explains its use and value, from the rating organization "With these rankings we intend to provide extra motivation to researchers worldwide for publishing more and better scientific content on the Web, making it available to colleagues and people wherever they are located." and "Diversity of institutions: Missions and goals of the institutions. Quality measures for research-oriented institutions, for example, are quite different from those that are appropriate for institutions that provide broad access to underserved communities. Institutions that are being ranked and the experts that inform the ranking process should be consulted often."

I have to simplify my comment, your resource is interesting but it is crap. My other explanation has way to many words.

You do love to argue over irrelevant posts. I'll give you that.

Double post. Site did a hiccup.

Funny when that posts was yours. Did I tell you that your source is ****. That it had nothing to do with what you said it was.

I have no idea what you just said, why it's important, nor why you're still arguing. I presented a review by a well known celebrity who had cancer and had spoken with numerous people from other countries on the quality of care and the speed by which they could get treatment. While the guy is a political hack, nothing can be had by misleading the public when a life is on the line.

The review is worth what you paid for it. If fifty anonymous people tell you that an LG phone is a piece of junk and only one guy says the phone is good, are you going to conduct a background check and evaluate every person who weighed in and wrote a review? No, of course not. But, just because one person is talking about this subject on the radio, it has to be the most pressing thing in the world to you.

Now, I stipulated that Herman Cain is a hack. I've told you I've caught him in lies and he don't back down from them. But, he did not fake the cancer, so I thought his review of services is relevant. You can't let it got at that. Do you have OCD or the syndrome that you just have to be right? What can we say to you today that makes you feel better? Do you want me to tell you that you have a monopoly on the truth and understanding and that anybody that would dare disagree with you is a subhuman?

Do you want me to grovel at your feet and beg for your forgiveness? Okay, Jbander, I apologize. I'm not entitled to my own opinion on this subject. You're the man. The rest of us should just sit back and allow you to give us the gospel according to jbander. I shall not challenge your infallibility on this subject ever again. Anybody that dares to disagree with you is a heretic and should be castrated then set on fire.

I hope that will be sufficient because I'm tired of arguing with you over it. It is beginning to appear that you have some kind of emotional issue that prevents you from moving forward. Maybe you should talk with Dr. Phil. Have a nice life.
