And it wasn't hillary because liberals are convinced the russians wanted her to lose

That leaves bernie sanders - a lifelong marxist who has deep ties to russia dating back to when he spent his honeymoon in moscow during the height of the Cold War

If the russians were trying to throw the election away from hillary they were trying to throw it to their man from Vermont bernie sanders

Of the three I see none that would have been bad for Putin's war on us. Possibly Clinton would have been more active, but I suspect that the information Russia holds on her would be sufficient to have laid her lame. Sanders would have been a real problem to the US and domestic politics would have removed the country from sensible foreign activities. Our selection of front runners was so pathetic, that it is astounding that we could have scrapped the barrel so deep.

I don't think it is the "leftwing" in any meaningful sense. It is much closer the center and a phenomenon of liberal Democrats representing the well off groups in investment banking, software/social media and most of the MSM. They are certainly to the left of rational policy mixes, but are far to the right of most European centrists.

No, clearly putin was working to get bernie the democrat nomination and sure election based on conventional wisdom

The only thing standing between putin havinng a real puppet in the oval office was hillary and her evil supporters at the DNC

Assuming you mean putin made his choice the only logical pick was bernie since all the smart money thought trump would lose

Bernie was a reliable fellow traveler who would almost surely be the next president if putin could take out hillary and throw the democrat nomination to sanders
