Re: President Trump is now claiming victory over what he calls "GARBAGE JOURNALISM"
So where are these "reasonable assessors of news" getting their info?
FOX News?....Breitbart??....Weekly World News???
The Prez himself seems to like The National Inquirer and InfoWars.....he's very discerning.
"Reasonable assessors" of the news try to access several outlets whenever an important story breaks.
I'm not sure what you're getting at here.
Are you saying any incorrect news stories will cause media consumers to never read any news again?
Millions????
Everyday???
At this alleged rate, you will have no media at all within a few months.
Your problem will be solved.
Then, you can listen to the TrumpNewsNetwork 24/7.
Is that what he's doing?
I thought he was just whining and tweeting idiotic crap.
Glad to know he's got a real purpose instead of just being a buffoon.
Millions a day, or so I've been told.
Again with the Twain quotes, eh?
Mark Twain is also credited with this quote..."Never pick a fight with people who buy ink by the barrel".
Which won't be a problem for The Donald much longer since the media----according to you---is practically defunct.
So the thrust of your post is that the media is 100% truthful, 100% unbiased and 100% believed by the public.
You must also believe that Space Aliens routinely visit our planet to have dinner with Big Foot. Sorry. A lame attempt at humor.
Also, sorry about the exaggeration of millions a day. It's been only about 20% of the population over the last 20 years. Your projection is correct, though. At this rate of lose, they don't have much time.
When I was in school, I was taught that the stock in trade of journalists was provable accuracy and multiple sourcing.
The media relies on neither as they attack Trump. They are simply making crap up and anyone who is reading/watching the attacks with a critical eye sees this. Many are using a critical eye if the drop in their trust among the public is the gauge.

As it happens, older people are more likely to trust the media than are younger people. This by about 10% . Old habits die hard.
I happen to watch and listen to a bunch of sources. I happen to hate commercials. During the election the coverage of the election differed between CNN and FOX in only one way:
CNN repeated endlessly that Hillary must be elected. FOX repeated endlessly that Trump must be elected. I happen to appreciate the devices used to communicate and so appreciated this contrasting coverage.
Of some interest to me in this narrative as news presentation, are the quick change artists, like Allison Camerota, who changed from FOX to CNN and went from right wing demagogue to left wind demagogue in her first sentence on CNN.
You'd almost expect her to have pulled a muscle doing this. Maybe the safety equipment helped. She now wears professorial glasses and the short skirts are not featured. Still has good hair and make up.
Mark Twain said many pretty smart, and pretty funny things. It was a different world in Twain's day. In his day, printing ink was required to reach the mass public.
The New York Times has a circulation of about 2 or 3 million.
Between all followers on Trump's Twitter and Facebook and so forth accounts, he has more than 85 million followers.
It's little wonder why they are having trouble taking him down. Fewer and fewer believe what they are selling. Even fewer than are actually buying what they're selling.
How many social followers does Trump actually have? - Jun. 17, 2017
