Righties object to freedom of expression

I have been trying to get the people who represent me under control since 1977, how has that worked out? This is not a democracy, by the way, it is a representative republic. Our leaders are democratically elected, but they are still our representatives. Democracy is mob rule. We don't need a French Revolution, although it may come to that if we're not careful, or a replay of the Rwandan genocide.

Over the years I have made it a point to know what's going on in the world, to be an informed voter and make choices that were not only good for myself but for the country as well, as far as I understand the Constitution and government. You are preaching to the choir, I have done my part, to no avail.

Yeah, we can't have democracy breaking out, we need elites to manage us. We have that now, you clearly do not know what's going on in the world.

i think that for the most part, both sides agree that freedom of expression is vitally important. even the SCOTUS has been fairly solid on the first Amendment overall.

Your constitution allowed slavery and genocide, I do not regard it as anything to live by in terms of morality or how I relate to fellow homan beings.

The hilarity of this coming from you is breaking all kinds of ironic meters. This is but a very, very, tiny fraction of what the left has been doing for about two years now.
 
Here is where I think the progressive left and the libertarian right diverge. The libertarian right don't condone the behavior at the play. The progressive left feels the protesters who prevented people from speaking on public university campuses didn't go far enough. Now, there is an element on the right which applauded interrupting the play and we call those people a-holes. However, are there any voices on the left which have stood up for the rights of right-wing speakers that have been run off by mobs?

I see the personal attack - but I see no documentation of it nor any evidence of any claim you are making.
 
Libertarians would not stand for such bull**** but the Dems & the Reps obviously do .................
