Trump Attorney WE WON --- but what exactly?

And are you really suggesting the Democratic leadership in the aftermath of Benghazi, should have mercy on Trump? I thought I heard you say that.
Mercy? No. I'm pointing out the blatant hypocrisy of Trump Haters such as yourself. I'm consistent because unlike you I have principles. I do not believe that one witch-hunt deserves another. The FBI are caught up wasting their time with this nonsense when those resources could be used in securing our national security. It's shameless and depraved to wish for pointless witch hunts regardless of who's in office.

The investigation into "The Russians" is a shameful blot on the history of this country.

Once again:
The investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election is not now and never was a witch hunt.

see above.
So much for your "principles".

If it wasn't for double-standards people like you wouldn't have any standards at all. You can say its not a witch hunt all you want, but the fact that it has to rely on garbage like "DONALD TRUMP PAID PROSTITUTES TO PEE ON A BED" garbage says otherwise.

Even if this is a witch hunt, take a step back for some perspective. "Witch hunts" can be, at times (most of the time), political tools. They have been dishonestly used numerous times in the past purely as a tool for political gain. Pointing out that this particular one is consistent with it's predecessors is a moot point. Its the same "outrage" that is the only viable response to a witch hunt being pushed by political opponents. Even if the "witch hunt" is a complete fabrication. Benghazi and "Her Emails!!" were both witch hunts targeting Shillary, and while they didn't bear any visible fruit, they were somewhat effective at damaging her overall political clout. Yes, it's ethically disgusting, but that's true of "hardball" politics in general and thoroughly bipartisan.

So the right can't be surprised when Trump gives the opposition so much fodder and they turn around and use it effectively. Just like Shillary shouldn't have been surprised that routing her government emails through her private server spawned multiple scandals, accusations of preemptively dodging FOIA requests, covering up Clinton Foundation fraud, and the right pushed it as far as it would go, evidence (or lack there of) be damned. Politics is an ugly business, and Donny is supposed to be a big boy who's the best at everything. Both this witch hunt and the faux outrage are run of the mill until an actual charge is made. The fact the left smells blood and is going after it is .... utterly predictable, just like Benghazi and "Her Emails!" were the second the right smelled blood there.

The definition of "witch hunt" is unimportant. Fabricating legal trouble (or using the real thing when possible) for political opponents is a technique as old as politics, or at least as old as Jeff Sessions. Either play ball, try and legislate some ethical accountability with regard to these things (would love to see this, but not holding my breath obviously) .... or get out of politics.
