Trump keeps major campaign promise

The trouble is, everything is partisan to diehard liberals and they are incensed because they were stopped in their tracks by Trump. That's why they've gone so rabid. Trump hasn't done anything other than shutdown the liberal train.

You can't make an argument about Trump without stating the word "liberals". Your seriously cognitively stuck, your a prisoner of you own ideology that's misdirecting your attention from Trump's shenanigans. You've lost sight of the fact that a lot of Conservatives in Congress and the bureaucracies that have been major obstacles for Trump. A lot of conservative citizens aren't happy with Trump's self-will-run-riot behaviors.

That's because it is liberals who have been rabid ever since November 9th.

So let me make sure I have this right. You're blaming liberals for the conservative negative reactions (in the public and private sectors) to Trump's bat**** crazy behaviors?

90% liberals, 10% other.

That doesn't say very much for the right who isn't in love with Trump by you claiming that they lack the ability to think for themselves. So in your opinion those conservatives have really and truly been turned into sheepeople by liberals?

You are very dishonest. Trump got where he is by stomping on both parties. That's why voters voted for a "nationalist", not a Republican. Business as usual in DC is over and international business as usual is also over. America first, Republicans second, Democrats third, the rest of the world fourth.

You're confused. It's not me that's dishonest. I'm saintly compare to Trump. Trump is one of the most gifted con men in America. He's in the league with Ponzi and Madoff.

It's Trmp first, Trump second, Trump third...

You've been Trump Humped!

Thanks. The article looks interesting. I haven't completely read it, but I will.

I wonder what the outcome would be in doing a long-term cost/benefit analysts in terms of human and environmental damage/benefits when compared with coal?

Should we be concerned about consequences to people and environment when we consume non-renewable resources such as coal and oil? Is there enough information and scientific evidence that has been gathered over decades that should cause us (humans) to be cautious in both the use and management?

A related issue is "Bio-Fuels". It appears that although they are renewable - they actually consume more energy than they save and quickly depletes the soil of the essential elements to replant the same produce or even other produce without using artificial soil enhancers that, in and of themselves, could pose an environmental hazard.

Again, thanks for the article.

The way I see it, green energy is not a bad thing, but the current green energy is just trading one evil for another. Lithium ion batteries for example would last over 300 years for production of lithium at the current rate, problem is the rate we use them multiplies yearly.

Someone can figure it out, the issue is using rare earth materials to jack up energy production, which is a cheap runaround to developing energy storage for that green energy, because in all truthfullness getting a good energy storage method is decades away, and funding from govt needs to stop going to propping up solar and wind and instead go to research and developement for solar wind and energy storage.

It seems that 95% of REEs are mined in China. India comes in a distant second.

The following link is a PDF of a Congressional Research document. Even though it was published in 2011 the Doc has pretty much "everything you need to know, but afraid to ask" (Woody Allen movie title).

Seriously, sooner or later, and I suspect sooner, we better get damn inventive or we'll owe our soul to China. In 2011 it was estimated that there is about a 60% reserve of REEs...and that belongs to China.

It'll be like a heroine addict being locked up in a room with no dope when the the REE dries up. But till then - nothing like being a slave to the dope and watch the prices go crazy high.
