I can't take credit for the thought; the missus asked the other day, "where have all the entertainers been? They normally don't miss an opportunity to make their political opinion known?" After that, I am wondering as well?
Where are the California liberals?
 
There is already an entertainer/celebrity who makes Trump look like a buffoon every day via tweets and comments to the media.

Are you asking why aren't there more in addition to what Trump is doing? I think they likely feel he's doing a good enough job himself, and the market for it is kind of saturated right now.
 
They (entertainers/celebrities) normally howl en masse. Not referencing late night shows, where the gloves came off way back.

I have Rob Reiner and Steven King in my Twitter feed. They comment on this stuff almost every day.
 
Lots of them are complaining. But why talk about that when the stuff coming out of the White House is much more juicy.
 
Hollywood only goes out of their way to step in when the press can't get the job done on their own.

You'll still hear the occasional overt grandstanding at an awards show, and late night TV is rife with it (SNL seems to exist on it solely), but there is no need for celebrities to make commercials or viral pleas because a) the press is pouncing on every little morsel and inflating as much as they can, and b) it's not election season so no money is flying around.

My guess is the movie and TV execs told them to put a lid on it.

Chris Evans and other actors made asses out of themselves after the election and there are quite a few Americans who arent going to forget anytime soon

Yeah I'm sure the next Avengers movie is going to do poorly at the box office because of Chris Evans political views :roll:

I'm just glad to hear most of them being shut up. Maybe they're starting to get a clue that the average voter doesn't give a crap what they say anymore.
