This man is truly a badly mentally disturbed individual without any semblance of self control. He has lived in his own little bubble for 45 years and has no concept of the real world and other people.

Part of me - the little devil on my shoulder - actually hopes he does the unthinkable and fires Mueller so we can simply flush this overflowing reeking toilet and get rid of this clown once and for all.

But a larger part - the calm and reasonable part of me - looks forward to the investigation and his slow and agonizing downfall.

There are plenty of badly mentally disturbed individuals offering opinions about what is going on, but President Trump is not one of them.

Using lies, deceit, fraud, and manipulation, the left is indeed earning the descriptions that have been made of them.

The lefts war on democracy, where they are seeking to overturn the will of the citizens of the country, is a direct threat. Unprecedented in my lifetime.

Worse still is the encouragement the leadership on the left is receiving from supporters who are eager to see this war on democracy succeed.

It will be interesting to see how the citizens will respond to a political party that is doing nothing, offering nothing, and succeeding at that approach with flying colors.

Seems to me, voters, no matter political party affiliation, expect their elected representatives to actually do something, rather than spend every waking moment obsessed with a game plan that seeks to erase and ignore what 62,000,000 citizens did last November.

I personally LOVE posts like this as they make crystal clear just who supports this crap and where they stand with the American people.

And if one invokes what citizens did last November - remember that 2.8 million MORE OF THEM voted for the Clinton rather than Trump. So invoking popular support is NOT a winning argument for Trump supporters.

Nope. Trump doesn't do himself a lot of favors with his communication style and he tends to get hung up on a few less than important issues but so far, based on policies which have already been implemented, I'm not complaining about what he actually does.

Getting rid of Murller is not an impeachable offense. You're going to have to wait until he commits one. We don't impeach presidents because we don't like them.

Picture the household discussions focused on TrumpWorld Drama going on right now across the entire Globe. Donald feels persecuted. Poor Baby! There there. Speculating on Trump's state of mind, he might think Roger Ailes died from muted frustration, unable to assist Trump in fending off this patently unfair political Witch Hunt! How dare the biased MSM continue to spew Fake News about non-existent collusion between Russian operatives and Team Trump! How much evidence do Congressional Decision Makers need before a Super Majority of them acknowledge the obvious.... that Trump's decades long history of unabashed narcissism prevents him from competently carrying out the duties of the Office?

Donald Trump's public unhinging and totally delusional perspective only adds fuel to the raging debate on Trump's competency. Going forward, what specific actions can those of us who oppose Trump take to increase the prospect that Trump does not finish his term?

It seems to me the path is working as it is.

Trump is such a delusional manic narcissist, that he wil continue along the path he started, likely to his ruin. I have little doubt that if he isn't yet dirty, he will soon be due to the intense legal scrutiny he will now receive and his reaction to it.

I see him in a similar situation as the criminal on probation that cannot stay clean, and thereby violates, perhaps for some otherwise relatively more minor offense like drug use or some other petty crime that ordinarily would not sink someone not on probation. Trump will either obstruct, or commit political hari kari. That is my prediction.

But the author of his book, who seems to know his psyche pretty well, claims that as the noose tightens Trump will at some point declare "victory" and leave office. That's another possibility.

Haymarket did not claim it was an impeachable offense.

But it would be a political offense causing his political demise. He's already found the result of getting ride of Comey. He'll never survive in office getting rid of Mueller.

And let's remember this: Impeachment is a political event, using the pretext of law. An impeachable offense is whatever Congress says it is (or isn't). In the impeachment hearings, Trump will not be in a court of criminal law like you or I. It is not a criminal proceeding, but rather a determination of fitness for office. It is sui generis in that regard.

If Trump is found to be guilty of impeachable offenses, that is not erasing anyone's vote. But I understand your defensiveness, given your full-throated support of a man completely unfit for office.

You are definitely right in that the majority (HRC) needs to respect the minority (Trump) in this instance, due to the Constitutional vagaries of the Electoral College.

The Constitution allowed the minority to prevail. And it is law.

But now the minority must in turn respect the majority's current application of the Constitution and the law, including impeachment if warranted.

This is the way our constitutional republic allows the peaceful exchange of power.
