What about the 'run of the mill, day to day' operations of our government? We pretty much had a 'do nothing' congress before all these 'every few days' scandals, (for lack of a better word). How do we expect the congress will ever accomplish anything constructive? "Fine mess you got us into, Ollie!"

Since just about everything they has discussed doing involves screwing me and the average middle class American, maybe 8 more years of 'do nothing' is the best we can hope for?

Vote them out?

It was a wondful last 8 years...lol you are so clueless you don't even know the left screwed you. You just keep bending over and licking the boot of goverment for your substance.... the logic of the left... Its noble to take from one class and give to another, you are a selfish pig for wanting to keep what one has earned.( referring to proposed tax cuts I'm sure you oppose) The Obama Economy and the Shrinking Middle Class • AEI

I've always been a fan of gridlock. When people ask me what I want from government, my lifelong answer is "less, much less." Hopefully the republicans will lose one end of congress in the next election. That would make me more comfortable with ensuring continuing gridlock.

The gerrymandering and social clustering seems to have made the vast majority bulletproof. I, for one, can't stand my rep. Odd that a body with a ~15% approval rating can get a 90+ % incumbent success rate.

That is far better that one party control, that is for sure.

Uh, no one screwed me, yet.

I don't care to read talking points from your oligarch funded think tank. Funny that they pretend to care about the middle-class they pulled the rug out from under. Born super rich trust fund babies that never worked because they had to make a living.
