Instead of making progress and improving the country, president Trump and the Republican controlled house, passed a bill that will negatively impact millions. Analysis shows the bill provides massive tax cuts for the least vulnerable while places those with preexisting conditions at increased risk of being priced out of coverage.
At a time when bankruptcy due to medical bills is at a low, this move could negatively impact the economy and kill Americans.

At the same time, ironically, president Trump issued a religious liberty bill protecting those who discriminate in the name of a Christian God.

Mat the 4th be with you.

What will historians say? Wait, that is an entirely different FUBAR issue.

Ugh

Hopefully you aren't surprised. It is designed to replace another health insurance debacle that negatively impacts millions. That is what happens when government decides to get involved in business.

On May 5,1862 the outnumbered Mexicans defeated the French at Puebla.

Indeed but Cinco de Mayo isn't about the U.S.

If they hadn't been defeated at Puebla the French might have helped the South in the Civil War.Plus lots of Mexicans live in the USA and they celebrate here!

Actually, it was Mexican factions allied with the French that were defeated.

"The Mexicans defeated the French", isn't accurate.

The Mexicans did help the South during the Civil War.

Lol....

Trump and the GOP House and Senate got handed a hell of a mess called ObamaCare.
The ACA since it was signed into law has on a monthly basis been setting new bars for horribleness.
From States wasting hundreds of millions of dollars building websites that never worked ( Oregon wasted 300 million alone and Duval Patrick took a functioning Romneycare website and well...broke it ) to failed co-ops to failed State exchanges to where we are now where average deductibles for a person under the Bronze plan is 6000 dollars, and 12 thousand dollars for a family.

https://www.google.com/amp/www.cnbc...ise-for-2017-along-with-monthly-premiums.html

1/3 of US Counties have only 1 insurer to purchase health insurance from, and ObamaCares circling the drain fast, but hey, according to hack media sites ObamaCares more popular than ever...Lol !!

Maybe if the Democrats and Obama handnt crafted and signed such a abortion of a law, Trump wouldnt be in the WH now.

But they did, and Trumps President and this mess has fallen into his lap.

Personally, I think the Dems should keep their yaps shut. Theyre really not in a position to give advice on healthcare legislation

If the GOP Congress wants to know how to write a law that will screw over 10s of millions of Middle-Class Americans and eventually self destruct, then the Democrats can chime in with their suggestions.

And rightly they should.

I love all the "health insurance costs increase" headlines. Health insurance was out of control prior to the ACA.

Even if all of your conclusions are true that doesn't change the fact that this law, as written, will lead to an increase in health care caused bankruptcy and death while giving tax cuts to the rich.

Personally, I would overreach as the government and make health insurance companies non-profit. That would leave it to the market and reduce the government involvement.

Lastly, I should say this, I am very angry that the dems didn't present an alternative to repeal and replace. They had an opportunity and instead chose to hide.

Similar to how the GOP offered only a repeal/replace option during Obama's presidency.

I wish one party would actually prove itself to be about country instead of party.

Healthcare cost out of control ? Alternative facts. Here's Chuck Schumer lamenting the Democrats misadventure into healthcare legislation after their 2010 losses.
Sen Chuck Schumer (D-NY): Dems Blew It When They Passed Obamacare In 2010 | Truth Revolt

According to Schumer, 85 percent of Americans were satisfied with Healthcare cost prior to the ACA.

A 2009 Gallup poll showed that 80 percent of Americans were satisfied with healthcare cost.
Cost Is Foremost Healthcare Issue for Americans | Gallup

But lets say you were right. The solution to out of control healthcare cost to was not to create a law that would eventually crash and burn adversly affecting 10s of millions of Americans.

And OF-COURSE you want to nationalize healthcare....Lol
The Federal Govt unprecedented intervention into our economy that brought about this mess can only be fixed with MORE Govt intervention.

Single payers a hard sell now thanks to ObamaCare and the VA scandal.
