Everytime that DJT holds a joint press conference with another world leader the contrast is embarrassing. DJT is sorely lacking in leadership when there is a contrasting personality standing next to him. Most noticeable when the other world leader is bi-lingual, DJT has trouble in English!

If I was one of those world leaders, I would have my security let his security detail know that other than a handshake, he better not put his grub hooks on me!

And you figure you are being generous in allowing people to shake Trumps hand, AMIRITE?

Trump is proof that the USA is a nation of rubes.

That seems awfully rude of you, to those that might have a difference of opinion or position to yours.
I guess it really must be true that 'The right believes the left to be wrong. The left believe the right to be evil'.

But far be it for me to ascribe a position to you. How do you see this?

It's much easier to look at that daunting mass of red in your avatar and call them uneducated hicks instead of presenting an actual argument.

Name calling and guilt tripping is where it's at these days...they work.... because so many are so weak of self now.

We used to be better.

I think that holding a position or opinion which is not challenged and not successfully defended against a legitimate challenge short changes not only yourself, but also your position / opinion. Holding a position / opinion that has successfully fending off challenges solidifies that position / opinion, or, if not successfully fending off challenges renders it a position to be reconsidered. Either of which is of benefit to one or both sides, additionally, the verbalization of why you hold that position / opinion is of benefit as well.

Because name calling and demonizing are two things trump has excelled at for 101 days .

Trump does what works, and he is willing to go low.

I condemn Trump for doing it, though it must be pointed out that he does it far less often than many claim.

I am of the opinion that well over 1/2 of my country is stupid. And, that probably 60% of Republican voters are the stupidest of all because they consistently vote against their own best interests, usually for reasons of race, ethnicity or icky feelings about someone else's sexual orientation.

Boost your ego when you call others stupid, does it?

Oh omnipotent one - as if you know what's better for someone else than they do themselves

Clearly those that you claim are voting against their own best interests know something, or value something, which you aren't considering.
Why else would they vote the way they do? And, no, I don't think it's stupidity.

But I do think it is arrogant and stupid to assume that you know what is in someone else's best interests more than they do.

Grumble, grumble, liberal arrogance and condescension. Grumble, grumble.

They vote against their own self interest for the same reason several hundred thousand Southerners died fighting for their plantation owning betters: misguided loyalties and a serious inability to understand what is in their best interest.

I'm sorry, but I just get over the fact that you seem believe that you know what's better for everyone else, better than they do themselves.
I'd add that this is a recurring theme from many of the left.

In the end no one likes being told what to think, or how to conduct their lives, and it generates a lot of animus against those that try to do so.

Freedom is to be allowed to determine what each person believes to be in their best interests, and be allowed to pursue them as they see fit, provided they comply with existing laws.

I recommend you vote to replace him in 2020.
