Trump turns to once-mocked executive orders to tout wins

They certainly have some nightmare neighbours living underneath them.

You are right that the lag on Obama's fiscal and social policies have lag times as do those of a number of his foreign policies. It is like the bubble that built up during The Economy Stupid Clinton that then popped and on whose third wave we now are.

Meanwhile Trump is on a record pace for Golf and EO's.

Obama signed partisan EO's and Trump had to unsign all the things that the partisan Obama signed. Obama didn't do that early on in his presidency because he had a Democratic Congress. Once Republicans took over later on in Obama's presidency, the EO's started flying as a way to get past the Republican Congress. That's also the same time that Harry Reid invented the nuclear option and showed us how to do it.
