We are nearing the 100 day mark just days away.

What has Trump actually accomplised?
 
He has single handedly driven the reputation of the so-called journalists significantly further into the dirt, by scrambling their brains.

The reaction to Trump has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that America is in bigger trouble than all but the most radical had thought.

There are tens of millions of people walking around still in a state of shock because journalism so completely failed them on where America is.....go sell your story down the BLVD, I aint in a buying mood.

The only thing I'm 'selling' is the reality of your claim about Trump being absolutely Fantasy Land nonsense.

He didn't do what you claimed he did in terms of journalists/journalism no matter how much that upsets you.

  • He's profiteering using the office of President.
  • He's managed to break or backpedal on nearly every campaign promise.
  • He's made the swamp, that he promised to train, deeper.
  • He succeeded in failing to repeal Obamacare.
  • He's succeeded in undoing regulations that keep the air and water clean.
  • He succeeded in having the lowest approval rating, for the time in office, of any president in modern history.

A better question should be what has Congress done in the last 90 days.

Doesn't most of the laws, spending allocations come from Congress. Seems to me the President and Congress need to find a way to work together to get things done for America.
 
Other than embarrass himself and the U.S., I'm not really sure. His incredibly widespread potential conflicts of interest with his businesses and his elected position seems to be showing some holes in our system..I suppose that's something.

But journalism didn't fail Americans, Americans failed Americans. Journalism is not elected by the people to stoop to their level and simply tell them what they want to hear, like Trump does. It is true many on the right don't value journalism, they prefer entertainers like Rush, O'Reily, Hannity, Beck to tell them what they want to hear in a hyper-partisan tone and delivery that they simply enjoy watching. This doesn't magically mean something is wrong with mainstream journalism. That is a problem, a big problem...but it sure as hell isn't the fault of people who are largely doing it right...

Actually, presidents propose legislation to Congress, who then re-write it and debate it and finally vote on it. It's the same with the budget, OMB writes the budget proposal and submit it to Congress.

Re-pointing a finger to Congress just doesn't hold water.
