Mark Cuban: Democratic Takeover of Trump Administration

so its your claim that strong alpha males were enamored with having Hillary as President? OMG that is a gut buster.

I don't believe in your qualifications to speak for alpha males.
Your posts consistently belie that notion.

Trump has been a democrat his entire life, but the kind you don't often see--one that is pro business and pro American. I don't think he cares a bit about traditional conservative social issues but gave a half heated embrace to them in order to win support. I think his natural tendency is to reach out to the left, but the left so hates him that he wont find much support there. The guy isn't an ideologue, in fact, he may have never had an original idea. He will support whatever will pass. He will make deals to get legislation through the congress without really caring what that legislation is. If Pelosi and Schumer came to him with the votes to pass socialized medicine, Trump would hop on board. So regardless of who he puts in his cabinet, so long as only those on the right are willing to work with him, his policies will reflect their thinking.

I pretty much agree but have to correct the notion that Trump was a Democrat his entire life.
For the record:Trump was a Democrat until 1987. That's the first 40 or so years of his life. Then he became a Republican from 1987-1999. In 1999 Trump became an Independent only to join my tiny Reform Party in 2000. That didn't last long as Trump went back being a Democrat from 2001 to 2009.

Then in quick succession, 2009-2011 Trump became a Republican once more, only to become an independent 2011-2012 and finally a Republican again in 2012. I think all this party switching reinforces what you state or that Trump doesn't know what he is or have a political ideology of his own. Only what floats his boat at the time.

A Beta Male Trump wannabe

Cuban would kick Trump's ass up and down the street with one hand tied behind his back. You do realize your hero is an overweight silver spoon fed softy. If ever there was a cuck, it's Trump.

I don't think men who worship Hillary are what most people would call "masculine"

What a stupid comment. Cuban is my age-58. I suspect I could kick most 70 year old's butts too. 12 years is a big difference at our age. One thing is for sure-the GOP ticket was a lot tougher than the Dem ticket -Hillary was probably the toughest of the two on that ticket.

I consider those who worship Trump even less masculine.
Although I suppose that could be my own hetero cisgender baggage...

I don't know (or really care) how you've come to worship Trump.

I think her number one requirement for VP was that he had to be a wimp.

Mark Cuban may have more money than the rest of us but his opinion isn't worth a nickel more than ours. I have hard time understanding celebrity worship. It isn't even worth discussing.

Nor is reality celebrity moron Trump based on your logic.

people who pay attention on this board would never claim i "worship" Trump.

Like I said, I don't care who you support.
Nor how much. Nor why.

My comment that you responded to was a general one, in which I characterized Trump's base as consisting of "Beta males".
I've formed that opinion based upon my real life experiences with Trump supporters... not based upon the opinions of anonymous members on an online political forum.

Oh please. Celebrity worship has swirled around the Democratic party for decades. Obama was their King and Hillary was their Queen, not to mention Billy Boy. Trump won because nobody gives a damn what celebrities say anymore and because he was a populist, not star of Celebrity Apprentice.

Except he is NOT a populist and is most definitely a "star" on the realty show "Celebrity Apprentice" so why would you say that?

cool story bro....

Not to divert too much, but I'm seeing states with GOP legislatures and DEM governors, beginning to pass laws preventing the governor from replacing a senator, as we just saw the AL governor do with sessions.

As well, VA nd MN are both working on bills to gerrymander their electoral college, by going to the CD method, since Clinton won those two states.

NE wants to get rid of the CD method, since Obama won CD-2 in 2008. There are several other state examples. Though dailykos is quite snarky, they are the number one data driven source for me right now, which I then cross-reference by Google .

cool story bro....

See? That's what I meant earlier.
That's the kind of response from a middle-aged man that precludes any authority on the subject of Alpha Males.

I read that Trump's team was worried about Cuban running in 2020. It's understandable actually. Cuban, like Trump, has the benefit of being a so called "outsider". I could see Cuban using Trump's populist tactics against Trump.

Cuban could also have cross over appeal, and win some of those rust belt/working class voters in 2020.

The thing is, the Democrats would never consider Cuban, because they are stupid.

You know what's funny, is that you are essentially admitting GOP voters voted for a big government liberal as president.

Trump used to worship hillary, until it became politically convenient for him not to.

That's right. And if you recall, there were many conservatives who made that exact point throughout the campaign. I think it was called the NeverTrump movement. That said, to his credit, Trump has appointed people that are very conservative and if the guy runs a pro business administration that's good enough for me.

The never Trump movement was, for the most part, a fraud.

It did look a lot like a "So-Called Journalists telling lies trying to give their minions hope" operation didn't it....

Nah, it's more like GOP voters would vote for Ronald McDonald as long as he had an R next to his name.

Because he IS a populist and because almost all celebrities are in the back pocket of the Democratic party. As long as they open their mouths and their wallets they don't have to worry about the Democratic party coming after their millions.

What the hell is that supposed to mean? Democratic voters voted for a lying dishonest crook because she had a D next to her name.
