Wonder Woman Shaves Her Arm Pits: Liberals Outraged

Liberals say the dumbest things trying to establish their moral superiority.

https://pjmedia.com/trending/2017/03/20/latest-snowflake-outrage-wonder-woman-has-no-armpit-hair/

So much adieu about nothing.

But it wouldn't surprise me in the least that some would be outraged at this.
It seems to take oh so little to trigger them into outrage against trivialities, of their choosing, that they seek, and always seem to find, somewhere.

Heaven forbid that their not becoming triggered becomes the newly expected, and enforced, standard of behavior of everyone else of any sort of normal disposition.
It'd be the next draconian order.

Way too many of these types of "stories" from both sides of the aisle since the internet and social media became common place. I can find someone on the internet to support just about any stupid belief you can think of. It doesn't mean it is held by a significant number of people.

National Review has run with the story.....
Haven't read the OP, but it's described as "I saw some random ppl say something dumb on Twitter" journalism - which is increasingly common because it is easy.

The NRO piece is in response to a Forbes article and what I believe is a feminist website.

Earth to Hawkeye: Not everything revolves around the orange-hued asshole who occupies the White House five days a week. National Review is a ****rag.
Respectfully, I think you are conflating "I don't like their editorial stance" with "they are a rag". NR has pretty solid content - there's a reason they are the flagship publication of conservatism.

How are you (and the article you linked) not doing exactly the same? Complaining about people complaining about something pointless is surely equally pointless. At least they’re all making money out of it though.

It’s also somewhat misrepresented. The actual articles referenced generally aren’t talking about shaving but about what they see as poor quality CGI to make her skin look flawless (though I’m not actually convinced they’re correct on that) as a reference to the general issue of media use of CGI and photo editing to create unachievable images of “perfection”. The only comments on hair seem to be the three random tweets, which appear light-hearted and jokey rather than angry or offended and don’t really constitute an “explosion”.

'Cause nobody wants to date a woman with pit hair!

Not true given that there are entire fetishes centered around hersute, yet alone those with normal body hair growth.

Once again I’m responsible for every random “librul” (real or imagined) the conservative media can dredge up and obediently posted by conservatives but conservatives are not responsible for trump, their senators, representatives and governors, Milo, Westboro Baptist church, white supremists, alt right, the Catholic church, Penn state or every conservative poster at this forum. How does that make sense to you?

You know why nobody has ever found a Sasquatch? 'Cause nobody wants to date a woman with pit hair!

She could braid it, and use it as her magic lasso.

Your hack site is nothing but a right wing snowflake-a-thon just nonstop bitching about inconsequential things. Having their readers linking to their giant cry-baby stories.

What a ridiculous hack site. Crying about tweets from nobodies. Some really important "General Politics" to discuss there.

LOL...

Except the fact that it's the trumpettes that are constantly crying about how they are victims. Making them the snowflakes.

I'm not a feminist (at least not a TW Fem), and yet I find the idea of a clean pitted superhero chick pretty damned off.

Woman grow pit hair. It's natural, normal, and entirely feminine. A dependence on clean pits to function (sexually) is a sign of sexual dysfunction. It's fetishism, essentially.

Do you find the idea of clean shaven superhero dudes also "pretty damned off" Men grow facial hair. lol

Except the fact that it's the trumpettes that are constantly crying about how they are victims. Making them the snowflakes.

No.

You don't change the definition. It isn't just about crying.

poweRob really hates being called a snowflake, he thinks its clever to project that onto people when they actually have a valid concern so he can be dismissive without feeling like a hypocrite.

Here is one of the tweets mentioned:

i wish #WonderWoman had visible armpit hair.

she was raised on an island of women w/no schick advertisements!

Where exactly is this moral superiority or outrage? I mean technically if you think about an island of women, it kind of does stand to figure they wouldn't be shaving their pits.

Just seems like someone else was fake outraged over some fake outrage which outraged you to come here and express your outrage at liberals. Outrageous indeed!

Cons cry all the time because they feel they are ALWAYS under attack. Their feelers are always under attack. That is a snowflake.

I am outraged at the amount of times you used outraged in that last outrageous sentence

National Review has run with the story.....

I read it at the time--as I remember, the author is a woman. I think Wonder Woman is much more attractive with shaved armpits, as she was originally portrayed.

Snowflakes are present in both the right and the left. Neither hold a majority nor exclusivity.

I agree. I'm just combatting the right's claim that all snowflakes are on the left by holding a mirror to themselves. Which they don't seem to like so much.

No, a snowflake has a specific definition, ties with political correctness.

Looks like you are a snowflake!
