What an accused ax murderer would say if he were a . . . . :
Democrat: "Sure, it was wrong in some respects, but at least the victim's death provides that much more resources to those who truly need it."
Republican: "The dead guy has only himself to blame for what happened."
Libertarian: He'd say the same thing as the Republican, but as soon as he finds out he might go to prison, he screams and whines about the government oppressing his natural rights.
