When the cheaters don't even know they are cheating...

I've always chuckled deeply at this chart, as though people live geographically in neat little rows with their own politically like-minded.
Are we talking about the piece of paper written by slave owners and slave rapists? Great principles to live by. Our vagina grabbing/bragging Pres seems to be living by it

I have no idea who you are, but I can tell I won't be paying much of any attention to you.

As someone else already mentioned, how do you explain the loss of governorships and the senate majority? Not to mention local municipalities.

That's Bush's fault, or Trumps, or mebbee those eevil Russkies, or rascists. One thing sure, it's not the fault of the personal actions of the Democrats.

I've never understood the gerrymandering issue. What the Democrats are claiming is that they get outmaneuvered every time new lines are drawn. This in spite of judges, predominately liberal, approving the lines.

Lol..The Senate isnt gerrymandered , and neither are Governor races. The Democrats lost 14 Governors over the last 6 years.Trump aslo flipped 6 Blue States and won 30 overall in rhe general.

I feel a sense of pity for forum members who would rather delude themselves into believing Gerrymandering and GOP cheating were the cause of the Democrats staggering losses over the last 6 years and not Obama's disastrous agenda.

Its a agenda thats been rejected thoroughly since the 2010 midterms and thats left the Democratic party gutted and leaderless so Im all for you people not learning a damn thing from the last 6 years
It pretty much guarantees a big GOP win in 2018.

No doubt, unfortunate uneducated country. What were his disastrous policies again? My 23 yr old started at $90k with an engineering degree, daughter started a $250mm business, portfolios up 10x, vacation homes, world travel. And you? Do tell.

So now 90 % of counties are red. Who will we blame when high school white boys don't see $50/hr jobs?

And yet....the rats lost the senate, they lost governorship's...none of which is impacted by 'gerrymandering'.

Even democrats are pissed at failed rat tactics. But keep doing what you are doing.

Go read Mellon Schaith , Koch, ALEC, cross check. So now we got the terrible black guy out and 90 % of the counties are red who are we going to blame? Got it, liberal (guess you knew, from the Latin free) judges

Rats? No moron? Nolibtard? 2nd grade insult humor, dead giveaway for limited education

No surprise "there's nothing more dangerous than a man with no doubts" it's all a bit pointless, posters have their mind made up. No advanced research where you have to list both sides. BOTH SIDES? Yikes

You need to further elaborate. I think I found ALEC. The others, no shows.

Oh, so it's all about the money? How then do you explain Hillary's loss to Trump? And what about local municipalities? Excuses excuses.

Oh and, your chart only goes back to 2010. Assuming it's even accurate.

i don't chuckle when i learn that districts are formed around the candidate, especially when there are algorithms that will objectively define voting districts to eliminate such preference
we continue to have the best government money can buy

Great. Had nothing to do with what I said.

They were the same policies that led to the Democrats losing over 900 State legislator seats, 14 Governors, the House majority and the Senate majority and finally, the Preyoursel all in 6 years

Sounds like your lacking a bit of education yourself

No, Gerrymandering is why Hillary lost to Trump. Every president faces a penalty at the midterm elections...

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...how-the-midterm-penalty-is-hurting-democrats/

But as I said, I do not expect cheaters to acknowledge they have cheated when they are in the dominant position. I just expect them to understand why they will face unbridled resistance from those who recognize the realities of how they obtained their "victories".

But you are free to show how the GOP did not have project REDMAP and how they did not massively fund state elections to pursue redistricting. And how they did not gerrymander the districts to lock up the House. And how that has not led to more and more extremity and lack of compromise. And how the anger of not getting anything done did not lead to the election of Trump.

It should be pretty easy to prove if it didn't happen. But it did. And the cheaters don't even know they are cheaters.

Lol, excuses excuses. Could you please explain to me how a presidential election can be gerrymandered, when in most states the popular vote is winner-take-all.

I don't call it cheating but the repubs are so much better at it. And as someone says, this is sophisticated 2017. ALEC is writing state laws ALEC Exposed.
And cross check wiped out a few hundred thousand voters. Including my son, someone in the next county with the same name.
I forget the cross check reporter who said the election was a forgone conclusion before it started
The same was said about the dems in the 80s and the gop bitched that they would never be able to win a majority in the house because of it. It goes back and forth.

I remember republicans used to bitch about it when the democrats use to have the same gerrymandered advantage.

It was invented by democrats to use against federalists. named after the guy and the salamander he drew over the district.

Though the topic was created dripping with partisan hackery I can agree with the sentiment that population centers should be more homogenous in their districting. I have seen some really nice algorithms. It makes for a much prettier state picture.

I am not sure however if it just moved the gerrymandering to a hidden place in the depths of the code.

Voting districts.

Voting districts.

Irrelevant in a presidential election. I don't think you understand how the president is elected. In a popular vote, voting districts are irrelevant. What in the world are you talking about?

Tell yourself what you need to believe.

If you don't want to see or look no one can help you. Breathe.

Are you still in stage one or two of grief over the election? My leftist friends still appear in one of those categories as of now.
