She is an alpha female who set her sights on an alpha male. Good job. Better than she might have hoped. Every woman should shop for a mate just as she did. She is secure, has all the resources she and her family will EVER need. Gets the best tables in the restaurants. Probably everything she wants.

The price? She has to wear designer dresses all the time, drive the best cars, live in luxury . . . Etc., etc. . . . Whether she likes it or not.

I'm not being sarcastic. Fifty percent of marriages are going to fail in any case. Women should choose MUCH better than they do.

And I would most CERTAINLY tell my daughter to pick someone whose strengths complemented her weaknesses, who had an excellent education, was ambitious and treated her with respect . . among many other attributes that spell success. whether she would listen is something else again.

If she is already in those circles, she could have picked among several men. Maybe she did marry for a real good provider, but at the same time, she likely picked the one she liked best of several.

People get into relationships for several different reasons, it it isn't our place to disrespect them for reasons we just assume.

You are disrespecting them over what you assume.

Here is a definition of a "sugar daddy":

a rich older man who lavishes gifts on a young woman in return for her company or sexual favors.

That is different than a pimp, who is in the business of selling his entourage of women for sexual favors, to prospective clients, and sometimes, in return, providing protection.
