Yeah, evidence is in the video coming out of Session's own mouth. But, you're never going to admit that he said it himself so

I agree, except that Sessions may as well recuse himself from any investigation of Trump because he was part of the Trump campaign. That's just to guard against claims of him showing preference for Trump.

Nothing Sessions said was deceptive or a lie. He answered a question within the context of the discussion and answered it correctly.

The context was phone calls to Russian officials in Russia. Nothing about a local ambassador.

That's a fact and that fact means Sessions did nothing wrong.

It was very Freudian of Sessions to answer a question that he wasn't asked. Sen. Franken asked him if he knew of anyone in Trump's campaign that had communications with Russians....and Sessions answered that he didn't have communications with the Russians and then immediately clammed up...with a gulp, dry lips and darting eyes...the tell tale sign that he was lying.
