Now we hear of others, close to Trump, with Russian history and ties. The Washington Post put out the information about Sessions. Similar to Watergate, I believe the Washington Post knows the whole story, but are spoon-feeding the News, continuing to put the ball back in Trump's court.

Historically, Washington whistle blowers tend to go to the Washington Post, and this is no exception. They are giving Trump the opportunity to resign with dignity. Otherwise they will nail him, just like they did Nixon. This one is far worse though, as it involves a foreign entity.

I would be very disappointed to learn that Trump had not been feeling out the Russians for a deal.

There is approximately a .004583% chance that Trump was ever Putins Chump.

Or that he ever will be.

SOOO Absent positive proof of Trumps criminal behavior I am not interested.

If you(F) dont got it then stay out of my face.

NOTE: New Style.

I dont like it either.

I don't really think that having a "Russian history" is such a surprise or even sinister as such. It is probably even positive, giving the individual a closer look at a system that is different to ours and not widely well understood in the US.

Such proof of criminal offence would be decisive. It is also the greatest danger to the country, as such proof would be a leverage and, if such proof of dark activities exist, it is sure that the FSB would have it.

Nope. But, that is not his style.

So, is it illegal for civilian businessmen with worldwide connections to know a few Russians, maybe even have drinks with a few Russians?

Is there some sort of law against this? I would really like to know because I am considering a 2-3 week trip/tour of Russia someday. A close friend of mine visited a few years and said it was worth the trip.

Again, this is just my opinion, and I base it on the history of whistle-blowers in Washington, and how they usually use the Washington Post for their outlet. It seems to be playing out, and if true, we'll all be up to our ears with Russian stories.

lol...I'm waiting for his "I am not a crook" speech.

There are hundreds of politicians with "Russian ties," thousands of businessmen with "Russsian ties," and millions of common citizens with "Russian ties."

To many members of the Left these days it appears that simply speaking to the Russian Ambassador (or ANY Russian for that matter) creates a suspect in some nefarious act.

This is becoming almost as bad as the old days when the Right thought that anyone who had any contacts with Soviet Russia was blacklisted as a "commie."

This is a tempest in a teapot being brewed by the forces trying to delegitimize the current Administration.

The question asked is "Why don't these people admit they talked to a Russian sometime during 2016?"

Simple answers? Either because they didn't consider the contact relevant even to even remember, or conversely they are damned if they say they had contact.

In the first case it might have been a completely innocuous contact that they simply didn't think about or recall.

In the second case, they might have thought that such an admission in the current media and social atmosphere would be treated exactly as it has been...proof of collusion with the idea of a Russian plot to put a Siberian Candidate in the White House.

Admit it. Had each person said "Yes, I spoke to Kislyev at..." the Alt-Left would have crowed this was an admission of working for the Russians. Denying innocuous contacts seems to have generated the same results.

You guys get funnier and funnier. I hope you are learning Russian because after Trump allows Russia to annex the US and appoint him governor, it will be the first language.

Trump needs to come clean? More like Obama and his administration needs to come clean about this FISA warrant.

Between Trump maybe having some Russian connections and a sitting president / admin ordering a FISA warrant with full sig-int intercepts that are now leaking out to the media, I think the latter is far more worrisome and a far greater threat to the Republic.

You mean the speech that Hillary should have given if she had been elected?

Think that's going to be an issue? Funny, we're back on Russia, only 2 days after Trump's successful speech to Congress. Trump got back to the tweeting, this time bad-mouthing Obama. What an idiot. He had some momentum, and he tweets the focus back to his personal problems.
