That guy who's always pointed out on the aisle by commentators ? He won't be tonight.

From CBS News:

In the past, Engel has arrived on the House floor as far as 12 hours in advance in order to snag a coveted aisle seat. But this time, he said he will not stand on the aisle to shake the hand of a president he believes has no interest in working with Democrats -- or with Congress in general. Longtime Democratic congressman won't shake Trump's hand ahead of joint session speech - CBS News

Good thing he announced this so that he will gain at least some of the attention he has always craved. But how churlish.

What, like yelling "you lie!"?

'They' have a short memory.

Just like trump now blaming his generals for the dead Navy Seal instead of the buck stopping with him .

Not particularly bothered by this, actually. Like him or hate him, there's really no doubt Trump's a divisive president (as Obama was).

That's a bit childish. But oh well.

I've read for two days now that the Dems plan to "troll" Trump tonight. I'm not sure what-all this entails, but I hope for decorum.

The Libbos are going to make, "you lie!", look like a fart in sunday school.

Maybe he should just pull a Cheney and tell him to go **** himself?

You're right. That's why I'm hoping they do.

i dont know if you agree, but we as a nation need another party to balance power, if the democrats continue to go farther left i believe they will eventually back their own back and have to reorganize, they need to return to a center position.

We need a Conservative party.

Funny. Obama spent eight years not willing to work with Republicans.

Petty donkey orifice bitterly speculating that the president won't work with petty donkey orifices.

The problem with Engel is...the mirrors in his house don't 'reflect.'
