Wait until their rivers turn to sludge while everyone is still just as unemployed as they were under Obama.

Wait, so the guy is married to an American, with two American kids, has been here since the 90's has done nothing to become a legal citizen or even get a green card (which is easy if he has a wife and kids).

What an idiot.

But anyways...... these stupid one off "gotcha" threads fail to realize this happened under obama as well.

U.S. immigration policy splits families when parents are deported – The Denver Post

#fakenews strikes again. Blame trump for what's always been happening.

Re: Coal town that voted overwhelmingly for Trump - upset that longtime Latino reside

This runs counter to your usual "law-and-order" attitude.

You're right. I'm a black-and-White thinker myself. But I also have empathy for the town who would like to help their friend.

It says 'convictions' but, did he serve time, pay restitution, skip out of Missouri, what?

We don't have that information.

Re: Coal town that voted overwhelmingly for Trump - upset that longtime Latino reside

cognitive dissonance is strong with this one.

more looking the mirror talk from you.

Re: Coal town that voted overwhelmingly for Trump - upset that longtime Latino reside

Why is the opposition always so gleeful when a glitch happens? People who use anomalies like this to further divide us don't really care about our country. They only care about showing up the other side. And yelling, "I told you so, you jerks!"

Well done.

One would hope that this town can rally together and help this man. But their sadness over his surprising status doesn't mean they don't want jobs and regret their votes for Trump.

By the way, he was a pretty young man when he got his two drunk driving convictions, which perhaps cuts him so some slack. Did he kill anyone? Injure anyone? Did he have accidents while DUI? Was he insured? Did he have a license? Just wondering...

I guess your didn't hear about the hundreds of people with green cards that were prevented from returning, families torn apart, and that Canada got two of your doctors who said "**** it" and came here instead. Maybe you haven't heard that Montreal's mayor wants federal funds to deal with the numbers

Your news is being censored just like in Iraq.

And the links are... where? If there is ANY truth to your claims, there is much more to the story. Did Canada want Federal funds to support our draft dodgers, too?

Dont forget to tell 'em about the poor iranian woman from detriot who died on the tarmac because trump wouldnt let her fly

Of course that story was a liberal lie but it sure sounded good in lib la la land

I find it amusing you ask for sources, since everything is "fake news".

I could not find the one of the husband and wife doctor who stopped off in Montreal from visiting their parents, and were banned from going home to their car, furniture, jobs.

So they stayed, were considered refugees and we are now helping them get settled and arrange to have their belongings moved.

Nor could I find the one about the blond haired woman who was detained for four hours.

Clearly your news is censored. This stuff was lead to show for a week.

I see. Well our news MAY be censored, but not in this case. The media reported the EO created a cluster**** for Green Card and Visa holders. It was straightened out as soon as the White House realized it hadn't excluded those people from the temporary travel ban. It was a difficult couple of days for these people. And I'm also sure it scared the bejesus out of them.

I didn't read all of your links. Didn't have to once I understood what you were referring to. Now tell me why your gvmt is asking for funds to help these people. If they didn't come to the U.S. almost immediately, it's because they didn't want to. Link on that??

Where to do see Ottawa asking the US for $.

If they are then it is part of a treaty.

Know this. In 911 the entire city of Gander opened their doors and provided food and lodging for travelers stranded by the air travel ban. Vancouver and Richmond opened their doors, food and shelter free of charge.

We have never been officially thanked for that, nor have the individuals who took it upon themselves to give food and lodging was ever acknowledged...nor has Canada sent a bill. I have not seen anything regarding money, but I do know the treaties covering our 3,500 mile long open border are strangely complex, I know if Canada wrongfully holds an American or anyone else, we are responsible for the costs incurred during the wrongful incarceration.

As for your country's extraordinary compassion for American citizens during the 9/11 tragedy, I don't know what to say beyond a sincere thank you to the people sho stepped up. It is in times of crisis that borders often disappear, isn't it?

I am surprised that a man with your knowledge of Canada would say that the hospitality of Gander was never acknowledged.

CBC Sept 11, 2011
U.S. Ambassador David Jacobson paid tribute to the town of Gander, N.L. for its generosity on 9/11, hailing its residents for their grace and good humour and representing "the best of us."

Jacobson was a key speaker at the memorial ceremony held at the town's hockey rink, where two steel girders from the World Trade Center were presented by a New York City firefighter to thank the town for its hospitality toward stranded air travellers on Sept. 11, 2001. The girders will remain in the town's aviation museum.

With a tremor in his voice, Jacobson reminisced about the tireless efforts of all the town's residents and surrounding communities during that day 10 years ago, and the days that followed.

"This could well be the motto of this town: 'Without waiting to be asked,'" Jacobson said.

Immigration officials noted that Mr. Hernandez had two drunken-driving convictions from 2007, a circumstance that could make him a higher priority for deportation. Friends of his say he crossed into the United States from Mexico in the late 1990s and had started but never completed efforts to legalize his status.
Oh well. Don't let the door hit him on the way out. It's remarkable how many liberals think it's ok to commit crime.

Re: Coal town that voted overwhelmingly for Trump - upset that longtime Latino reside

And mine.

He is an illegal alien with two serious criminal convictions and should been outta here 10 years ago

Bush and Obama gave him plenty of time. His wife probably came here illegally too and they popped out a couple of anchor babies that are no likely to be a burden on the taxpayers.

Re: Coal town that voted overwhelmingly for Trump - upset that longtime Latino reside

Doesnt it seem odd that that the NY Times found a story in this dinky little town that the local newspaper missed?

The Frankfort American ? West Frankfort newspaper - News, sports, obituaries, photos

Not one word there about the illegal alien that the Times finds so fascinating

For some reason, there are TWO newspapers in the "dinky little town" - The Frankfort American and the West Frankfort Gazette

Carlos' attorney says 'generalized criteria' to blame for ICE arrest

WEST FRANKFORT - More details have surfaced in the past week since we broke the story of local business manager, Juan Carlos Hernandez Pacheco, who was recently detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. (ICE)

According to Carlos' friend Tim Grigsby, who has been in contact with him recently, Pacheco was not the initial target for arrest when ICE officials showed up, but they took him in after finding a DUI from several years prior on his record.

Please note those words I have bolded.

So the NY Times got the story from the local newspaper without giving them credit for it?

That is liberal media dishonesty

These are exactly the people who they are targeting.
2 DUIs !!!! They would have to deport 1/2 of WV. Might increase the average IQ though

Re: Coal town that voted overwhelmingly for Trump - upset that longtime Latino reside
