Trump Hypocrisy

Of course there's a difference. But when Trump says publicly how much he loves wikileaks and then scolds leaks and calls them "criminal" when the leaks work against him it's still hypocrisy. Had he scolded wikileaks like he did the recent leaks to the press he would have been consistent. Had Trump at least acknowledged wikileaks was wrong for hacking the DNC it would have gone a long way towards his credibility.

Leaks from within the government regarding a top secret conversation is a serious felony. It ain't Wikileaks.

And it reminds ME of the steroids in baseball hearings.

I'm talking about partisan politics being the objective of a wasteful investigation. Benghazi was a perfect example of that. I don't know why congress thought they should conduct pro sports hearings. Seems like something the league should police themselves.

I don't care how the **** got leaked. Is it true or not?
Nor can Trump act intelligently. He's apparently still confused on whether the leaks are valid, or "fake news" from the intelligence agencies.

WHo can we trust to give us that answer? Not the press. They are being given cherry picked and edited information. This is exactly the kind of leak that we are talking about. These conversations are classified. The information being released by the leaks is only partly true mixed in with disinformation to push a political agenda, regardless of the impact that it has on our relations with other countries.

Don't expect the intelligence community to stay on your side when you consistently insult them in public.

When I felt slighted by a superior in my chain of command I didn't go out and release classified information to get back at him. That is what third graders do. I find it amazing that this even has to be explained. We called it "professionalism".

We all know Trump has completely thrown professionalism out the window.

Come on, we are talking about people in government who help overthrow regimes and plot assassinations. Undermining a goofball president is child's play.

It is child's play. It is immature and sophomoric. It isn't surprising that you condone unprofessional conduct.

Was it professional to overthrow Allende, a democratically elected president and replace him with a brutal dictator? You speak as if our intelligence community has never acted shady.

The intelligence community is simply returning the favor to Trump, who outright insulted and undermined them when he was barely in office. A very poor move made on his part. Trump may be a great salesman, but he is a terrible politician.

You are correct, partly. I think this is revenge for Tapper and Brennan, and for winning the election. Revenge isn't a good motive. It has a way of coming back on a person. **** splatters.

I'd just like to point out some delicious hypocrisy coming from Donald J. Trump.

This is a exerpt of a quote from Trump when speaking to Bill O' Reilly back in October:

And now, concerning the recent leaks, he said this earlier this morning on Twitter:

Isn't it just amazing how Trump is suddenly against illegal leaks and interference....when he's not the one benefiting from them?

Trump has a very long way to go to catch up to liberal hypocrisy.

A common human weakness. Very common. I wouldn't think of it as delicious, though. That would be another common human weakness.
