I'd just like to point out some delicious hypocrisy coming from Donald J. Trump.

This is a exerpt of a quote from Trump when speaking to Bill O' Reilly back in October:

The problem is, Bill, I would hammer it, but the press doesn’t pick it up. The press is hardly even talking about Wikileaks. You now that. Wikileaks is amazing. The stuff that’s coming out, it shows she’s a real liar. She said, well, you have to say to the public and you have to say to your donors different things. Okay? He is delusional and therefore very scary, He must be removed ASAP.
One of many examples is his tweets at 3AM, why is he doing it at 3AM when he should be sleeping?
Why does he shake hands like a maniac? Example the Prime Minister of Japan.
What are "so called judges"?
Why is John Mc Cain not a hero when Trump is a draft dodger?
He is the author of the following statement: "Where is my African American"? His African American!!??
Why did he claim to know more about ISIS than anyone?
What happened to Mexico paying for the wall?
He has offended everyone in government and business and I guarantee this idiot will not last.

Let us remember that it was Trump himself who invited the Russians to interfere in the election back in July of 2016. It was Trump himself who mentioned the wikileaks material over a hundred times on the campaign trail in the closing weeks. It was Trump high campaign officials who had constant contact with the Russians during this time period. And it was Trump himself who proclaimed his love of wikileaks.

But now - the Trump administration and their lap dogs in Congress - want to pretend that the only issue here is that somebody dared to leak damaging information about them and that must be investigated so those people could be sent to prison as Rep Steve King said this morning on CNN.

This is beyond amazing.

We need either a Special Prosecutor or a Special Select Committee of Congress with full powers to investigate broad and sweeping issues associated with the Russian issue both in the campaign and during the transition period.

John McCain agrees - “We need a select committee. We need to get to the bottom of this. We need to find out exactly what was done, and what the implications of the attack were, especially if they had an effect on our election. There’s no doubt they were interfering, and no doubt there was a cyber attack. The question now is how much, and what damage, and what should the United States of America do.”

Anything less is not acceptable.

There is a difference obviously, being that they are two separate entities. The hypocrisy comes when Trump is suddenly against leaking of information (that is according to him, "fake news") when it harms him, but when WikiLeaks leaked all of that negative information about Hillary and her campaign, he had no problem with it. He praised them for doing it. He also had zero problem with the Comey and the FBI getting onto Hillary for her emails, either. But now, he's against the FBI "interfering with politics". Sad.

He is against the FBI and other branches of our security network interfering in politics because it is treason. Quite a difference. These leaks are coming from the security network that is supposed to be protecting that information.

That is a monumental difference.

I'm still waiting for concrete evidence that this wall will be built. Seems like a silly thing to talk about how we will pay for it first, when I haven't even seen blueprints of it. Seems to me, it's just a fantasy Trump is using to keep his base in line. No matter what else he does, there will still be the hope that he will build the wall, and that's a powerful dream to some people.

Its first an effort to uncover the truth. If it results in ousting Trump and his administration - then that is the results of Trumps own actions.

I have been saying that for Weeks. It is the only kind of civil war our country will ever experience. Little bloodshed. Extreme activism. We are seeing it in action as the Left does everything in its power to topple the White House.

Uncover the truth about a Russian conspiracy? That's not going to happen. The investigation will be to find out who unmasked Flynn's name on that (or those) phone calls. And why. And who in our security network is leaking classified information to the press.

Like I said earlier, we've seen all this before with Republican admins. being mauled.

Are you not concerned to find out the extent to which top officials of the Trump campaign had "constant contact" with Russia during the campaign at a time when Trump himself invited the Russians to interfere in the process?

The truth about the extent and content of the "constant contact" between paid high officials of the Trump campaign and Russia during the time when Trump himself publicly invited Russia to interfere in our election process.

I don't think so, although I hope you're right. The Left is saber rattling impeachment a month into his term. Won't approve his cabinet in the midst of some important national crises, our security network is leaking classified information to the press, lies abound. Misrepresentations dominate the news. Town hall meetings are destroyed...

When did this happen with Bush and Reagan? I must have a very short memory.
