Trump Hypocrisy

Are you not concerned to find out the extent to which top officials of the Trump campaign had "constant contact" with Russia during the campaign at a time when Trump himself invited the Russians to interfere in the process?

The FBI is investigating it. A bunch of people sitting around in congress milking their supposed investigation for face time does nothing.

I don't think so, although I hope you're right. The Left is saber rattling impeachment a month into his term. Won't approve his cabinet in the midst of some important national crises, our security network is leaking classified information to the press, lies abound. Misrepresentations dominate the news. Town hall meetings are destroyed...

When did this happen with Bush and Reagan? I must have a very short memory.

They never like Reagan. [but loved the Soviets]

Bush II was destroyed over WMDs and two wars ...sat by silently while the Left and their sycophants did their deeds.

The same but different....and different results.

Oh fudge! That's my mistake. Mods, I call onto thee...

Yep. It's just great. And sad.

It's sickening. For 8 years they attacked Obama, and Obama gave plenty of fodder on that point. But the moment the D changes to an R, all off a sudden they're not outraged about improper government conduct and action.

This is why we can't have nice things, because people are so caught up in their hyperpartisan bull**** that they cannot act intelligently.

I don't care how the **** got leaked. Is it true or not?

The truth about the extent and content of the "constant contact" between paid high officials of the Trump campaign and Russia during the time when Trump himself publicly invited Russia to interfere in our election process.

It's a crock.

The FBI is investigating it. A bunch of people sitting around in congress milking their supposed investigation for face time does nothing.

The role of Congress and a Special Prosecutor in the Watergate scandal proves you wrong Maggie. It worked to perfection and the truth was discovered.

Hey, in the world of alt-facts having broken the law isn't what's important. What's important is that someone reported that they may have broken laws.

The partisan part is absolutely true but, they took an 8 year vacation from investigating anything....the GOP even said they weren't going to do it.

He is against the FBI and other branches of our security network interfering in politics because it is treason. Quite a difference. These leaks are coming from the security network that is supposed to be protecting that information.

That is a monumental difference.

So it's treason for the FBI to interfere during his Presidency, but not during the election? How does that work exactly?

And Trump's narrative is constantly changing on this. First it's "fake news" from NYT and the MSM. Then, it's information being illegally given to the NYT. Then, it's a giant conspiracy from the MSM. And now it's apparently an attempt by the FBI and the CIA to cover up Hillary Clinton's "campaign mistakes" (Which makes absolutely no sense). To me, this just looks like a massive deflection, in order to not address any the content within the leaks themselves.

That's actually not too far off from what many Hillary supporters were doing when the election was still going on, with the breaches into the DNC.

It matters if they're doing it to a sitting Admin. During the election it was part of the vetting process. IMO.

Nor can Trump act intelligently. He's apparently still confused on whether the leaks are valid, or "fake news" from the intelligence agencies.

I'd just like to point out some delicious hypocrisy coming from Donald J. Trump.

This is a exerpt of a quote from Trump when speaking to Bill O' Reilly back in October:

You can find more quotes here:

And now, concerning the recent leaks, he said this earlier this morning on Twitter:

Isn't it just amazing how Trump is suddenly against illegal leaks and interference....when he's not the one benefiting from them?

He was for leaks before he was against them.

I have been saying that for Weeks. It is the only kind of civil war our country will ever experience. Little bloodshed. Extreme activism. We are seeing it in action as the Left does everything in its power to topple the White House.

I've been saying for years, the left won't be happy until they trigger Civil War II.

I know, right?

Trump is having a terrible time trying to get control over his administration. At this point it's just looking like he is incompetent. To be fair, lots of us have been saying that for at least a year now. You were warned, so you are partially responsible for his failure.

If you think that the FBI Director stepping up to talk openly about emails he was investigating is the same as the intelligence community wiretapping a member of a presidential campaign, then unmasking his name, and leaking that information is the same as a Comey stepping forward to say they'd found more emails, you are misled.

As to addressing the telephone conversation contents, the FBI has made it crystal clear no laws were broken. Flynn's mistake wasn't the conversation(s)' it was lying to the VP about what was discussed. The Logan Act was not violated. Case closed. Neither you nor anyone else has the right to invade his privacy any firther.

Yes, dear.

It will uncover those who are treasonous

Collusion with Russia to hijack our elections might just qualify as treason.
