This seems to be spun out of all proportion. Misspelling an unfamiliar name is hardly a sin and “apologies” verses “apologise” is a common spell-checking error. The article really goes over the top when it tries to spin a racist element out of it though. It all generates hits for the advertising revenue I guess.

Speaking of publishing; I started reading a book last month that had two spelling errors in the one page preface. That's as far as I could go.
